Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 James Johnson is doing some really nice moves to get near the rim, unfortunately he's putting too much finesse on his finger rolls lol.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 The ball movement has been a lot better tonight and they're getting some nice chances in the lane. They're just missing easy shots. Eventually they'll drop. Much better effort compared to the Charlotte game.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 I see ECJF is calling out Demar again because he sees a report saying he is ready, yet the player says he isn't. The last thing you want is to rush back from an injury. He should take as much time as he needs. You do know if Demar comes back and goes 3-12 because he is rusty he isn't going to be helping the team, you know?
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 Like I've said in the past, hockey and soccer players are neck and neck conditionally, hockey players and football players are the toughest bar-none. If what ECJF suggests is true, the NBA sits comfortably low, in any type of player to team toughness, I find that hard to believe, if you're healthy play, yet there's nothing wrong with conditioning if you're not 100%.

If he's 100% healthy he needs to play (which he is). I'm sorry that you disagree with this. What report are you talking about? He's been all over TV HIMSELF saying that he's physically ready to go. For whatever reason he needs 7 practices to get ready.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 Anyways, agree to disagree. I think he should be playing, you guys think he should take his time. End of story.

You disregard sooooooo much. You're insatiable ECJF. That goes for any team that floats your boat, stop it, bro.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 Ok Spanky thank you.

What the f*** does money have to do with this? If he feels like he won't help the team win of course he shouldn't play. I don't know if you have played sports but if you take 2 months off playing a sport you don't just come back and be what you were before. It takes time to get your shot back and in game shape. You are that type of person if Demar came back and was having a bad night you would say he came back early and he is selfish to come back before he is ready.
labadee Verified Member Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 i dont remember him saying anything about 7 practices, but either way i'd want derozan back and 100%. Dont they practice like several times a day anyways lol he could be back this week
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 Ok Spanky thank you. lol...it's your knee jerk, not your passion, you see me as the same, I believe, no big deal, really.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 Jeez Ross forces so much.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 Hard to see Ross getting big playoff minutes if JJ plays like this.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 Hard to see Ross getting big playoff minutes if JJ plays like this. JJ at the 3 and Demar at the 2 does not work offensively. No spacing
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 Holy s*** JV is beasting. I don't know what got into him all of a sudden, but man did we need it.

Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 Games like this show you why you always try to build around your star bigman (not saying that we have one). JV is impacting the game on every level right now.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 Lets not forget we are playing the Boston Celtics who are in tanking mode. Its nice to see players play well but competition matters a lot.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 Great f***ing ball movement. We're back in business.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 I wonder when Patterson decided to start taking overnight lessons from Mutombo.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 Handsborough has looked terrible. Just constantly out of position and stupid fouls galore. Edit: Don't think I've ever seen a big man with worse finishing ability as well.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 The ball movement is fantastic! Amir 3!
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 JJ with the "what da f*** I gotta do to get starting minutes" poster dunk!!!
Arjun Nimmala Vancouver Canadians - A+ SS It's been slow going at the start of the season for Nimmala, but on Sunday, he was 3-for-5 with his 3rd home run and 3 RBI. Explore Arjun Nimmala News >
