GD Old-Timey Member Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 Wait, Marc Gasol is a FA this offseason? Omg waaaaaaaaant. Yes dumn dumn. I'm sure we could trade for him too if we took back Randolph, which is an awful contract but would spell Amir. The salaries would match up with our expirings + Greivis + Ross or at least close enough to it that our trade exceptions would help.

GD Old-Timey Member Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 Why would we want to trade for him if we could just sign him as a FA? Bird rights that would let us offer more than any other team as well as getting him in time for a playoff run this year, not to mention showing off the city???
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 Mozgov got embarrassed by Bogut, basically the blocking equivalent of a poster.

What? Gasol would never be traded this year...Memphis has a shot at a title and just traded (trading) for Jeff Green.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 Lol turn on the GS-CLE game and first thing I see is JR Smith take dribble baseline and take a 18 foot contested pull up jumper.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 Lol must be awkward for Mark Jackson being back in GS. They look like favs for the championship with Kerr. I'm really a big fan of their team. Especially Draymond Green, who seems like he would be a great fit for the Raps. Problem is I don't see how GS would let him go.

There have been rumors. Just playing along. If they don't think they can resign him, it makes sense to get something back for him.

They'll never have a better chance at a championship than right now.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 Man, Lou and Vasquez have been playing like garbage lately. Our entire bench is Patterson and JJ when Casey decides not to start him.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 Pretty much everyone is playing like garbage, Lowry included. Lou can't make a shot to save his life.. They finally get back into it and then they fall apart on defense again. Really disappointed in Demar. They needed him back tonight and he wimped out.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 Lmao we had numbers and a wide open lane and Ross takes a 3 from 5 feet behind the arc. Smh

The last time you called him soft you looked like a fool. If he's still feeling pain there's no reason for him to be playing against weak opponents and potentially aggravating the injury. DeRozan is the last guy you should question about competitiveness.

He set an arbitrary number of practices that he wants to get in before he returns. It makes no sense. We desperately need him now.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 I'm out FB PO's take precedent.... #WeTheNorth

It's the f***ing Celtics, if we're truly a competitive team then this should be an easy win and DD should be allowed to rest, whether it's because of the injury or he doesn't feel ready. If we lose it's not his fault.

eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 Coach's decision? ...? It's Demar's decision. He said he wants to get in seven practices before returning.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 That was a bad charge call, Crowler was not planted at all.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 ...? It's Demar's decision. He said he wants to get in seven practices before returning. I'd assume it's up to the training staff and Coach, not Demar?
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 Andddd Amir might be dead.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 I'd assume it's up to the training staff and Coach, not Demar? He is medically cleared. It's Demar's decision.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 Wouldn't it work that way, or do players hold more order?
