Well Amir isn't a guy you want to throw it to in the post. Hes great at setting screens and on the glass on the offensive end.

He's one of the best rebounders in the entire NBA, can shoot the ball, is a beast down low and can make free throws.

 

Vasquez can dribble out the clock, doesn't defend anyone, doesn't seem to understand a PG's role on the team and is pretty much the only player on the team who seems to have an ego

Counter is though what you gain on offence is also lost on defense. So if JV isn't producing on offence he is a waste. Also he clogs up the paint for guys that like to drive like Lowry/GV.
