labadee Verified Member Posted December 18, 2014 Posted December 18, 2014 Vasquez is still trying to do WAY too much. You're a backup PG bro. Get your teammates involved. No need to chuck like that. He ended up with a decent shooting night but we need him out there creating plays. I'd also like to see Steimsma/Chuck/Bebe get more of Tyler's minutes. He really doesn't offer anything out there for us. Can't rebound, can't finish around the net. Always gotta be looking to make adjustments to improve the team and I think this is an obvious one. Overall, great game though. I want more hayes. Bebe hasnt been doing s*** in the minutes he's had, but I agree Steimsma may be deserving of some of Tyler's minutes.

Horses Fart Old-Timey Member Posted December 18, 2014 Posted December 18, 2014 I don't know how to post videos or links here but did anybody see Brandon Jennings brain fart last night? Just a simple google of his name will fill u in if u haven't.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted December 18, 2014 Posted December 18, 2014 The thing about Psycho T thats so weird is he doesn't look good watching the game but he has the highest net rating on the team 110 O RTG and 93 D RTG. Outside of the GSW and Dwight Howard's 12 games that is the highest Net RTG in the entire NBA. Now there is prolly a bit of noise in there but its getting to the point where samples aren't so small anymore.

It is interesting to look at but I definitely think the sample is far too small to think anything of it. He hasn't even played 300 minutes yet this season. His TS%, efg% and reb% are all down from last year when he was 100/100 rtgs

Would a player's net rating be influenced by who he is on the court with, or does it only apply to what he does per 100 possessions? Excuse my ignorance, I just dont really know how to use this.

The tough part is there really aren't any decent bigs available.

I don't like Chuck but it's undeniable that he has some great defensive positioning on the floor. He just cannot ever attempt a shot.

dineke Old-Timey Member Posted December 18, 2014 Posted December 18, 2014 Bebe much like Bruno is not close to being ready. I never said he was and that's beside the point anyways.

GD Old-Timey Member Posted December 18, 2014 Posted December 18, 2014 Less than I thought Rondo would fetch. Probably fair.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted December 18, 2014 Posted December 18, 2014 Not a huge fan of this deal for Dallas. Wright is a huge loss.
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted December 18, 2014 Posted December 18, 2014 Just terrible for Dallas. Rondo is not even a good defender anymore. He's basically living off his name recognition and assist totals which is overrated anyways.

He could be exactly the backup big Toronto needs.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted December 19, 2014 Posted December 19, 2014 "How is this any different than when the Lakers tried to get Chris Paul and the move was blocked? WTF" lol
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted December 19, 2014 Posted December 19, 2014 lol Rondo has made it to the charity line only 36 times in 22 games. He has a FT% of 33%. How is that even possible for a PG?
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted December 19, 2014 Posted December 19, 2014 Exactly this. I wonder if Boston would trade Wright since there frontcourt has a lot of bodies. He could be exactly the backup big Toronto needs. Brandon Wright is too good of a player to use sparingly as a 4th big. Come playoff time the 4th big won't even play more than 5 minutes anyway. I haven't really looked around the league but I doubt most team's 4th big on the team is on another tier above Tyler. That being said, Bismack Biyombo would be a pretty good insurance policy to have on this team. Hayes+ our 1st probably gets it done. I'm not sure how much value Charlotte would put on our pick though. It's a guaranteed rookie scale contract for 2 years for a mediocre prospect.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted December 19, 2014 Posted December 19, 2014 "How is this any different than when the Lakers tried to get Chris Paul and the move was blocked? WTF" lol Who said that lol. Big difference is Chris Paul is a great player. Also Stern is no longer commish

burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted December 19, 2014 Posted December 19, 2014 Anyone watching OKC/GSW? Game has been amazing and feels like WCF. These 2 teams are just at another level.
