eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 Can't wait to see the Bulls fall flat on their faces. Talent is there but the injury concerns are way too glaring. I can't see them getting close to 55 wins. 50... perhaps.
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 Vegas win totals for Over unders. Seriously there are four pretty easy bets IMO. Heat under 44, Pacers over 33, Denver under 42.5 and Phoenix under 43.5. Cleveland Cavaliers 58.5 San Antonio Spurs 57.5 Los Angeles Clippers 55.5 Chicago Bulls 55 Oklahoma City Thunder 53.5 Golden State Warriors 51 Dallas Mavericks 50.5 Houston Rockets 50.5 Memphis Grizzlies 48.5 Portland Trail Blazers 48.5 Washington Wizards 48 Toronto Raptors 48 Miami Heat 44 New York Knicks 40.5 Brooklyn Nets 42 Charlotte Hornets 44 Indiana Pacers 33 New Orleans Pelicans 43.5 Atlanta Hawks 41.5 Denver Nuggets 42.5 Detroit Pistons 36 Phoenix Suns 43.5 Boston Celtics 27 Los Angeles Lakers 29.5 Minnesota Timberwolves 28 Sacramento Kings 30 Orlando Magic 27 Utah Jazz 26.5 Milwaukee Bucks 24 Philadelphia 76ers 15 Bulls under 55, Celtics over 27, 76ers under 15, Lakers over 29.5,
TheHurl Site Manager Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 Challenge time pick 5...I'll add Dallas under to my list (wanted to put the Raptors here but decided against) Dallas under Phoenix under Denver under Miami under Indiana over. Honestly 76ers under 15 should be a lock but I can't bring myself to do that.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 Cavs under Chicago under Brooklyn over Phoenix over Orlando over
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 Raps broadcast schedule is out: http://i.cdn.turner.com/drp/nba/raptors/sites/default/files/broadcastsked_201415.pdf Didn't realize how many home games we had early on... 12 of our first 17 are at home... Gotta start strong.

They still have Bosh, Wade and a great coach.

Getting Ballstreams is probably the best bet for basketball fans in the country.
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 Would love to see what they have playing on their main channels during the games. The cash grab excuse is pretty lame because just mad many people flat out cancel their cable rather than pay the stupid prices for about 3 channels they want

The cash grab excuse is pretty lame because just mad many people flat out cancel their cable rather than pay the stupid prices for about 3 channels they want I understand if its the NFL but without national rights for NHL I wonder what the hell TSN is thinking? I know Curling gets good ratings and all but the way TSN and SN f***s over Raptors fans its no surprise their fans cancel their cable.

eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted October 29, 2014 Posted October 29, 2014 Watching a clip from the New Orleans game... stadium is like half empty... They have such a good young team too... Meanwhile we'll probably have like 5K people outside of the ACC tomorrow night in the square.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted October 29, 2014 Posted October 29, 2014 Triple header tonight Orlando vs New Orleans Dallas vs San Antonio Houston vs Kobe AD goes off for 20/20 tonight. Book it. Wasn't 20/20 but I'd say 26,17 and 9 blocks is even more impressive. Guy is a superstar already. Top 5 NBA player.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted October 29, 2014 Posted October 29, 2014 2 hours until tip-off! Can't wait! Should be a great year.
immature Verified Member Posted October 29, 2014 Posted October 29, 2014 Go Raps. Atlanta is a decent team that will be a good starting test.
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted October 29, 2014 Posted October 29, 2014 Pretty pumped. Side note these we the north shirts should come in different sizes

Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted October 29, 2014 Posted October 29, 2014 Is Greivis Vasquez taking a dump or what? Weird that he didn't show up when he got called.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted October 29, 2014 Posted October 29, 2014 I expect Millsap to have a good season. The Hawks have a good PG, PF and C, could have a decent year.

Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted October 29, 2014 Posted October 29, 2014 JV with his first post up move. #TheDreamPresence
immature Verified Member Posted October 29, 2014 Posted October 29, 2014 Everybody looks strong so far on both sides of the floor.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted October 29, 2014 Posted October 29, 2014 Getting a bit too careless with the fouls. Like what I'm seeing though, the effort on the boards is strong all around.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted October 29, 2014 Posted October 29, 2014 If the Raptors are going to take that next step they are going to have to take less of these long 2 point jumpshots.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted October 30, 2014 Posted October 30, 2014 Amir Johnson is the best. So underrated. Mr. Efficient
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted October 30, 2014 Posted October 30, 2014 Not a bad first quarter. Defense was strong, defensive glass got a bit weak near the end, but the effort was still good. I felt that a few shots were forced, that'll probably improve as the game moves along.
immature Verified Member Posted October 30, 2014 Posted October 30, 2014 Amir was great. The ball movement wasn't too great, the ball seemed to stop too much with Demar.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted October 30, 2014 Posted October 30, 2014 Well f*** me I sat Vasquez.
