Bruno apparently has hurt his calf. Hopefully he doesn't miss much time. His summer league performance was pretty encouraging.

He's not going to play anyways lol. I guess training camp and the pre season could be good for his development but Ill take Bruno being injured over any of the main 9 guys.

He'll be playing in the D League. We need him healthy so he can practice with our top guys during the pre-season as well.

From what I read, they don't plan on sending him down the to D League for a single game. It's not their team so they can't really control how he's used down there or if he will even get minutes. DIfferent sets/schemes could also just complicate things for someone very new to the game

Masai said yesterday when they have a week with a lot of games they will send him to the D league so he is getting playing time since they won't be practicing much.

Do the Raptors have the best back-court in the NBA right now? While it's comical that Dion Waiters believes that Kyrie and himself are the best duo, I actually took a quick look around the NBA and couldnt find a single tandem that I would take going into next year over Lowry and Derozan. Maybe Bledsoe and Dragic but I think I saw them play maybe once last year so I can't really compare the two

Dragic/Bledsoe is better and Paul/Reddick arguably is.

Reddick pretty much only shoots 3's and FT's well. Paul is on another level but the duo isn't very impressive aside from him.

Its like the argument of the best 1/2 combo and having Lebron + random dude.

Yeah, Paul + pretty much anyone is better than Curry + Klay.

I think you're underrating Reddick. He has a career .582 TS% and, despite being white, he's not a defensive liability. I don't get the point about Lebron James. Paul is the best backcourt player in the league and the topic at hand is best backcourts in the league. Is the difference between Paul and Lowry less or greater than the difference between Derozan and Reddick? I think that's a valid discussion.
