Hopefully he picks the Canadian High school. For a guy his height, he has a decent shot and smooth game. Adding him to the mix for Canada Basketball would be amazing.

More D1 scholarships went out to GTA residents than NYC last year. If anyone thinks the Raptors (likely Vince Carter in this case) aren't a factor on GTA amateur basketball they are crazy. Now we need more elite coaches and programs. Maker coming here to play is a great start.

But the parent or guardian must be a Canadian Citizen in that case which they are not. He has officially committed to play in Orangeville with his brother though! Talk that they could be the best high school team in NA, which is crazy. I hope they play one of the top prep teams at the ACC, would be cool to watch.

The reverse racism in the United States is f***ing sickening.

 

It's like every f***ing white person has to feel sorry for being white now. The guy is being forced to sell his share of the Hawks when he didn't do or say ANYTHING racist. The NBA strong armed him. If he refused to sell they would've turned it into a PR nightmare for him. I'm assuming he has other business affairs and doesn't want his name dragged through the mud.

I think it's accurate though. Your average white family does not want to go to an environment that is 70% black.

 

This seems pretty ********, though I thought the whole Sterling fiasco was ******** too. Lots of basketball players have a minority they find intolerable. Doesn't make it agreeable to think that way but if we are being persecuted for the things we think about, 90% of us would be in jail.

It is ******** but its 2014 and everyone should come to terms of what is expected nowadays with regards to racial stereotyping. That being said, if I was the owner I would probably grow some balls and tell everyone else and the league to f*** off. He clearly is over owning the team.

Their listed heights are actually extremely close. Demar 2.01 M Amir 2.06.

 

I might get Live this year, honestly. It all comes down to GM mode. 2K's is always very good, and looks amazing this year. But Live looks better imo and I've always liked the gameplay better. Just comes down to association/whatever.

Haven't bought a basketball game for PS in years but apparently the NBA Live game from last year was one of the worst games ever made.
