It'll be interesting to see how they co-exist. He's not really a traditional big man and he shoots a ton of shots. I don't know if they're the perfect match.

Offensively I think they are a great match. Lebron's drive and kicks are going to lead to many Love 3s. However, the defense is going to be a serious issue. No rim protector whatsoever, Irving and Love are two of the worst defenders at their respective positions.

You can't tell me that guys like LeBron, Durant, Paul and Curry would ever lead a team to win totals like 17, 26 or 31. Also, isn't Ricky Rubio supposed to be good?

Well Lebron, Durant, and Paul are all better than Love. Curry on last year's T'wolves would not have won more games than Love did.

Love is arguably a top 4-5 player and definitely in the top 10.

Probably the worst shooter in the NBA. Great passer and pesky defender but he's one of the worst shooters I have ever seen. There was a stretch of an absurd amount of games last year where he didn't score a single point in the 4th quarter. Incredibly overrated.

They haven't fielded good teams around Love. Plain and simple.

Love is not the worst defensive PF out there. It seemed that way because the T'wolves perimeter defense is bad and allowed a lot of drives to the basket.

Agreed with everything, Rubio is basically Rondo with absolutely no offensive game or craftiness at setting up opportunities for himself at the basket.

Kevin Love has never made the playoffs though. I don't know if you can be a top 5 player in the NBA without having ever made the playoffs.

Yeah I don't think this is unfair. You don't really know about guys in terms of being elite until they're on a good team. I think Toronto has a couple recent examples in Bosh and Stoudamire where they put up big numbers on bad teams to make themselves look like a top guy but in reality they aren't. I remember Jordan going out and getting Stackhouse and getting a hard dose of reality about a supposedly top 5 player.

ITT I learned that the basketball fans on this forum are the equivalent of the baseball writers they like to make fun of.

So should I expect an increase in cavs jerseys this year? Funny how I haven't seen many heat jerseys this summer compared to the last few

Kevin love.plays on a worse team than Chris bosh's raps. You guys should look up his numbers and watch him play before doubt it. I'd take him every single time over the melos and Blake griffins of the world

lol it's pretty funny/awkward that there's a three-team deal agreed to and made public that can't happen for weeks.

What's the justification behind the no-trade rule?

So Bennett swaped for Thaddeus Young.

That is an outstanding deal for Minny. Young is slightly overpaid but he's a nice talent.

I don't think so. This makes them slightly better, but what good does that do? Young can alao opt out after this season. Bennett just needs to be a role player, which I think is very possible, and Philly wins the trade big time.

That's not a bad move. Seems like it could cause some turnovers though. He's a bit off balance and it's a little wild.

Easily take him over Melo but I think I'd rather have Blake. His post game is unreal now

He always has his feet under and is pretty centered. I like it.

Looks MUCH more fluid than he did during the season, hopefully it can carry over to live game action!

Yeah, at the very least, he seems extremely fluid.

Ya gotta love Ujiri

Easily the most likeable GM in Toronto sports in pretty much forever

And he's good!
