eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 Obviously Orlando sucks but Salmons has NEVER had this kind of impact on a game all season long It's such an obvious move to make. Fields for Salmons in the main rotation. Fields looks fresh and hungry. He's actually a very crafty defender. Long arms and intelligent. He just can't shoot.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 I bet Fields doesn't give away the ball to Durant and then bricks two free throws right after...

Salmons doesn't exactly take over games with his offensive game either (which we both know), and he plays next to nothing D, at least Fields knows what he's doing on one end of the court.
theblujay Verified Member Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 If we're gonna pay Fields he may as well play, especially considering he's better than Salmons at almost everything
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 Ride this until the lead gets cut to 10. This is massive if they can keep this up. They have SUCH an easy schedule in the last two weeks before the playoffs.... If these guys can play.... our guys can be super fresh for the playoffs while our opponent will likely be worn out because they're still fighting for a spot.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 Orlando better finish with their dignity and at least play their bench, embarrassing display out there.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 Get the Chuck-wagon in the game. Maybe even some minutes for Stone!
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 What the f*** are you doing Casey? Why are Amir (who gets injured easily) and Lowry on the court? The bench barely even plays, they're big boys, they can play a full quarter... I swear it's like he's padding the stats or something.
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 I wouldn't have them all out there right now.. The one time i would be OKAY with casey throwing 80% bench on the floor

Doesn't demand the ball, can handle it in a pinch, great cuts, solid to good D.

Funny that we've been saying the exact opposite thing as this for weeks.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 JV f***ing beasting lately. Give him the ball. 16 first half points!
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 Funny that we've been saying the exact opposite thing as this for weeks. It's like he trolls people for using common sense, when it's a close game, he throws Salmons, Hayes and Novak out there, when it's a blowout he puts JV, DeMar, Lowry and Amir in, the hell?
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 Landry Fields +16 tonight! Keep playing him!
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 12 guys played in that half.... and only 2 minutes for Salmons
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 Couple familiar faces in Miami for a "reunion" set up by MLSE. Apparently they'll be at the Raps/Heat game.

eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 Minny beating Brookyln!
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 Wtf just happened in the third quarter, are they all asleep?
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 Come on guys, let's get our s*** together. And for the love of God Casey I know you're about to take someone out, FFS put Fields instead of Salmons!
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 It's basketball, giant leads always diminish.

John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 Nope takes out DeRozan for fields, not the black hole of salmons. Casey really coaching this into a close game with Hayes and Salmons on the floor

John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 It's basketball, giant leads always diminish. There's always runs, but there's no reason to let a 21 point lead drop to 8 in one quarter because your coach puts the 5 worst players on the floor at the same time. Casey's rotations are just mind boggling, keep 3 starters, 2 bench guys, then rotate a starter and a bench guy back in every so often and you never end up with 5 completely useless players on at one time, and your starters stay fresh-ish and don't have to play 40 minutes
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 It's a 6 point game!!! Put your starters on!
