f***ing s*** I had to leave for like 20 minutes, totally missed the ending, "Vasquez Turnover : Bad Pass (1 TO) Steal: Deng (1 ST) 00:01.9 " FFS

I don't like to be that guy but:

Vasquez scares me in these situations, one TO and the run could stop right there.

I really don't trust this guy with the ball, and this was before the comeback was even complete, 4-13 from the field as well, guy's a chucker.

I don't know if I'm reading the play-by-play right, but was Ross just simply not on the court in that last possession? The actual f***?

Now I know Valanciunas started the game out rough, but still:

J. Valanciunas 17:52

J. Salmons 14:21

N. De Colo 05:04

C. Hayes 15:23

S. Novak 16:37

Casey's back.

That's correct. If you go back a page, you will see my comment about Ross coming out.

That was with about 2 minutes left, he was replaced by Novak who promptly bricked a WIDE open 3 that would have given us the lead.

Agreed JV wasn't so hot tonight, but at the same time...everyone was playing like trash when he was out there, I wouldn't say it's his fault.

Chuck did play well tonight but Novak should have seen the bench after his first 3 bricks. All his value is in his shooting and when it's not there...

The ridiculous part of the whole thing was that Novak replaced a 40% three point shooter..who can actually play basketball and doesnt cripple the team in every other aspect

If Casey had any wits about him, Demar would have come out the game. Guy was shooting 5-16 with no 3 pt shot and 3-7 from the line

Vasquez is best when he's on the floor with Lowry. Lowry (last play of the game notwithstanding) won't let him dribble around for 15 seconds only to give a guy a bad look/chuck up a contested shot. He can't be trusted when he's on the floor without him though.

I don't like him but I don't hate him.

Wow, those are some ugly first quarter stats, which really aren't surprising if you've ever just read a boxscore or watched a game. For those that aren't watching, in about 6 first Q stats, the highest the team ranks is 23rd, but the rest including point differential, opponents scoring and others are all around 26th or less.

It's a real shame that Rondo's shooting sucks, him with a reliable jumpshot could have been one of the best PG's of all time.

On another note, the Raps are beasting down low, including Valanciunas and DeRozan. Ross once again lights out from 3.

Love the offense right now, I hope Ross uses his 3pt stroke tonight to pump some dudes into big slams

Bold prediction for the second quarter start, Casey puts 4/5 of the second unit on and gives up the 9 point lead in less than 6 minutes.

If Jonas gets glued to the bench tonight...I don't even know

That would be an an awful move, the Celtics have no strength to stop him down low, he's getting offensive rebounds at will.

f*** me. Only took 2 minutes to get the lead down to 3 ... Salmons, de colo, Hayes and Vasquez plus JV, but nothing going to JV who can't be stopped right now and the lead evaporates in 3 trips.

What a joke

f*** Hayes is absolutely useless. Already down 2 and only took 2 minutes and 35 seconds to give up a 9 point lead

I wonder what our second quarter stats are when we're leading after the 1st. And look Amir with the offensive rebound and a putback, what a shocker.

I would've been impressed by your prediction but this is something that has happened every game I've watched.

f*** sakes, hold on to the frigging ball DeRozan., and why isn't he just schooling Bayless? On the drive every time?

Third turnover for DeRo in the quarter, 5th team

You can appreciate the training and hard work from Amir during the years on that play, this guy went from being an awful FT shooter to being able to have a semi-reliable mid range jumper. The guy probably spends 2/3 of his day working on his game.

If we've learned one thing about this team it's that it's become increasingly apparent that they have no depth past about 6 guys.

Would love to see Amir re-signed after next year (at slightly less than the 7M he's making now). Great player, great teammate, great ambassador for the team.

It's so obvious that they need another big off the bench, specifically a defense first center. Hayes and THans don't really have the size we need after JV sits.

Acquiring someone like Kaman or Jordan Hill at the deadline would've been massive. What would you give up though?

Getting Patterson back will make a massive difference. They were pretty effective in spurts with a smaller lineup consisting of PP and Amir at the 4/5
