eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 Are the Raps for real? Are they a cheap but young and well constructed team with a very promising long term outlook? Should I start watching basketball? Young, controllable core in DeRozan, JV, and Ross. Payroll flexibility. Former EOTY in Ujiri running the show. They'll probably be able to re-sign Lowry to a reasonable deal this offseason because of a lack of PG market out there. Jump on before it's fashionable. Oh yeah, no more Bargnani either.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 Not quite an ideal team, but they are young and talented. Plenty of cap space coming up - main question is do they keep Lowry and build on this core or blow it up completely. Of course you keep him. They're maybe 2-3 pieces away from being an elite team. You bring in a stud PF who can rebound/score and JV/Ross/DeRozan keep developing and you have a great team.
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 I jumped on the wagon at the start of the season and have watched a lot of games. I couldn't care less about what goes on with the rest of the league though.
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 Hope Lowry is okay, didn't look that bad

I would agree but there are a lot of people who think he should be dealt before he either walks or we overpay him. There is precedent for 10+ million for PGs in his class, not a contract I would want to give out personally. Of course if we sign him to 4/32, that would be gravy

Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 It also helps that the East is just a complete wreck with the exception of 2 teams, unlike baseball it allows us to compete
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 you didn't enjoy those 18 ft bricks with 18 seconds left on the shotclock? ftfy
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 Bad shot locations in the 3d but they are going in!
GD Old-Timey Member Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 That was one f***ing wild sequence.
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 Questionable calls in the 3d....
SpeedyGose Verified Member Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 Nice run here, keep the pressure on!
GD Old-Timey Member Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 Jesus that was one sweet layup.

Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 Was just thinking.. if the jays had a good friggen offseason we would finally have seen a somewhat decent sports city, with the leafs having a lucky season, raps doing well, TFC making some big moves. F U AA
Laika Community Moderator Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 Kyle Lowry seems to be an extremely effective player. Like, 7 win Ben Zobrist type of underrated star.

Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 This has been an enjoyable game. Vasquez!
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 This is some elite ball movement. Argh 4 point play come on...
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 Psycho T Man, it's an absolute crime that Hayes was getting minutes over Hands-bro. He's an extremely effective player when used properly.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 Vasquez 14 points of 6-7 shooting with 5 assists lol Where did that come from
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 Man this is great Bench is killing it!
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 If they had an elite rebounder, they'd be quite intriguing. There are just so many 2nd and 3rd chance opportunities given up. They cannot rebound to save their lives. Great game here though.
