I cannot believe that call. After such an amazing 4th quarter comeback, they do us like that.

 

Moral of the story is this...don't wait till the f***ing 4th quarter to start trying against a 16-32 team.

Nothing will come from it.

 

The NBA doesn't take it's corruption seriously ala MLB letting the steroid s*** slide for years. They don't want to air their dirty laundry. Donaghey (sp) went on record saying there were many more refs doing the same things that he was doing.

 

Happens way frequently now. You'll see free-throw differentials of like 30-40 in some games. It's so obvious that there is match fixing going on.

Horrible call. But I don't think it was the worst call against Lowry this year... Wasn't there a play where he got run over and was called for an offensive foul.

Well I'd didn't see this game but ... What can you say about that foul call? It's terrible, it would be like an umpire calling strike 3 on a ball that slipped out of the pitchers hand and was flung into the dugout with the bases loaded in a tie game in the bottom of the 9th with 2 out.

They just aren't good enough down low. Great guard play but Val is huge bitch (will improve in a few years, I still believe), Johnson is playing like garbage, Patterson isn't really a post presence, and Hayes is just too damn old/small.

 

They need to acquire someone realistic like Al Horford or that big Eurotrash guy from the T-Wolves who can dominate down low.

 

There has also been talk about Greg Monroe from Detroit being on the block, he'd be a great pickup.

He's a FA next year so he probably isn't an option.

 

UGH could've had Andre Drummond instead of Ross. What a miss.

I think Horford, although injured, is probably a pipe dream. Is the bolded Pekovic you're referring to? He's got some decent post work (I haven't watched him a lot though), is a strong guy down low but I don't believe his defense is very good (I could be wrong on this, but seems a bit slow).

 

I agree about Monroe, just the type of bigman we would need.

I really believe that Val will develop into the post presence we need, but it might not happen for a couple years. I've been saying for awhile that we need a back up, defense first big. Like Aaron Gray, but better.

The Clippers were just beating the sixers 83-33 near the start of the third, I can't recall ever seeing a 50 point lead. Could have been more than that at one point, I didn't look closely.

I still like JV... plenty of time to toughen up. For the love of god I don't understand why they play Hayes.
