Metallijay Verified Member Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 Not a hit? That ball was smoked.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 Bautista and Reyes returning to form at the same time spells trouble for opposing pitchers.
bendera3 Verified Member Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 His pitching framing does seem to be slowly improving, and he's actually paying attention to the batter making sure he's not peaking; and those were nice blocks, but shouldn't every MLB catcher already have these skills and execute it consistently? No, only the top 10 should.
digiblader Verified Member Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 Well, teams need to shut down Boston's offense if they're gonna have a chance.

ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 bring in McGowan here You've gotta wonder what's going on with McGowan. Gibbons didn't bring him into the game on Thursday either, who knows.
96MPHFB----- Verified Member Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 Reyes arm Reyes of sunshine for the infield.

gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 Why keep mcgowan here if he is not going to get an innings? Another one of AA's gimps. He loves those side burns.. Game done..
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 His pitching framing does seem to be slowly improving, and he's actually paying attention to the batter making sure he's not peaking; and those were nice blocks, but shouldn't every MLB catcher already have these skills and execute it consistently? Many don't seem to have the plate blocking skills (or they don't want to get run into). Pitch framing seems to be hit or miss, but may have more to do with the pitching staff's command which could explain why many catchers aren't good at it when they first come up.
Gen.Disarray Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 Yes! DP ends the game. Good job boys. Time to split this thing tomorrow. lol at Reyes and Boni's celebration
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 Poder Dominicano + JP defense lol
Metallijay Verified Member Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 McGowan's not in because its only a 4 run game and he can walk the bases loaded at any time. Te why have him up here if he cannot be trusted.
kcjaysfan Verified Member Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 Te why have him up here if he cannot be trusted. What would you have them do with him?
Metallijay Verified Member Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 What would you have them do with him? They should have kept him in the minors longer or use him so we can see what he has. Leaving on the bench solves nothing.
jaysfaithful8 Verified Member Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 Youre welcome boys Pretty amazing that you're giving an interview and posting on here simultaneously.
