Metallijay Verified Member Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 davis and Izturis carrying the offense. The bottom of the order has done most of the damage.
Doc Verified Member Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 Hey Buck Boni doesn't get on base stop bragging him up like he does, I really don't know why the guy is still playing baseball he's garbage.
Hawkguy Verified Member Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 hahahahahah oh my god... Buck and Patty T are such homers. "This is going to be a great 9-1 combination.. Bonifacio can get on base." Yeah, that .240 OBP% really shows that he can!
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 The bottom of the order has done most of the damage. yesterday as well.
Hawkguy Verified Member Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 Bonifacio's OBP, Gose's struggles at staying viable at the ML level and Reyes and Rajai getting injured really hampered that whole strategy. Actually, Gose hit pretty well this year when he came up. He went down because he was covering for injuries - no other reason.

gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 Boni should learn to slap the ball the other way when batting left handed. He could beat out so many ground balls deep to short.
Sparky12 Verified Member Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 He's hitting .300 with a .336 OBP I realize that, and he has been very useful because of it, I meant if he could sustain it for a whole season
Wilnercibia Verified Member Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 I want 1 hour with the jays hitters closed door meeting DON'T SWING AT GARBAGE What does Gibby even do??? Hubba Bubba and seeds

TwistedLogic Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 Didn't he hit well in his limited time here, Gose? Actually you're right, he did do pretty well while he was up. Why'd they send him back down again? Playing time?
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 I want 1 hour with the jays hitters closed door meeting DON'T SWING AT GARBAGE What does Gibby even do??? Hubba Bubba and seeds takes the boys out for ice cream on off days?

Hubba Bubba and seeds He manages an excellent bullpen in an excellent way. He uses unconventional methods in building his lineup that other managers would be too pussy to try and pull off. He does what he can in his own power, he isn't a hitting coach you damn llama.
Metallijay Verified Member Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 Rogers pitching tomorrow? Bullpen really needs some rest,
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 Actually, Gose hit pretty well this year when he came up. He went down because he was covering for injuries - no other reason. Yup and then gets CF taken away from him. I don't blame him for being a bit sour and allowing it to effect his game.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 I give quite a bit of credit to Izturis for his previous AB where the ump called a ridiculous 2-0 strike on him and he still got a hit to start the 3-run inning. It also happened to Reyes in his 2nd AB and he got a single, good thing the ump made the right call on Ortiz!
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 Actually you're right, he did do pretty well while he was up. Why'd they send him back down again? Playing time? Mysterious forces in the front office

Metallijay Verified Member Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 If I'm off beat here let me know, hasn't both EE and Bautista have ribeyes on their menu? What does that have to do with the fact Izturis has 3 in the series, and the bottom of the order has done the vast majority if damage? Stop cherry picking stats. Look up the stats.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 Actually you're right, he did do pretty well while he was up. Why'd they send him back down again? Playing time? Yessir, consistent PT. And now he's benched lol. Dude's obviously going through some s***.
guylaroche5 Verified Member Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 i'm actually terrified at the thought of rogers pitching at fenway
TwistedLogic Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 It's okay Reyes. You're still my husband.

G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 I'd like to see bautista not hitting second Agree. It's run it's course. But: Reyes ??? Bautista Edwin Lind

Hawkguy Verified Member Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 buck and tabby are pretty lame commentators but they're far from being homers. homer was the wrong word - they generally talk up all players good or bad. But it just sounds so bad saying Bonifacio gets on base. His OBP% is only higher than Thole's. He's behind Arencibia and *Blanco.

GD Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 I don't really understand the benching ********. He did half ass a play and he's been playing like total s***, maybe a message needed to be sent. He basically Bonifiasco'd one play to the absolute max. f***, I love Gose, and even that pissed me off.

Well he's been garbage this year but last year around this time he had a .330 OBP. He's done it before.
