Horses Fart Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 We will be fine this game everybody.....we have CY Dickey on the hump today
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 If Fausto is going to be hitting the corners down in the zone like that first inning, it's going to be a really long day for the batters. That was impressive.
Auldphartt Verified Member Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 is this being streamed today??? my kid is looking to see it. Do you have MLBTV? There's no blackout in Sweden. Otherwise you can always use a "bootleg" streaming site like the one whose name rhymes with "gee I see fox". It works for me every time. I haven't had to use anything except MLBTV this year though. For some reason I'm not being blacked out. I think it has to do with Rogers Anyplace TV. Last season and at the start of this season, I watched the games through Rogers for free because I have a Rogers mobile data account, even if I used my landline with another company. I noticed the feed was the MLBTV feed but they left the commercials in. When Rogers stopped offering free games to anyone without a Rogers cable TV account, I tried MLBTV and found it worked fine for Jays games, and even omitted the commercials.

TwistedLogic Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 You said you wanted to start a forum game. And I was wondering what you were planning for that, although we already have one with the FHRC. But I was just wondering Some of the ideas used on PSD, MLB Mock Offseason, MLB Mock Trade Deadline (what I'd suggest starting with), Redrafts, etc. People lovee those games there and I think people would love them here. I would help commish it. PSD often managed it in a very s*** way but I have a great idea of how it could be run. All we would need is a subforum (could even put the subforum in the main MLB forum) and people to sign up to play.

G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 Nice work RA! 3 up 3 down with 2 K Now that's what I'm talkin' about...
TwistedLogic Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 Oh okay I see what you are talking about You have people take one of the 30 MLB teams (one person for each team if we only get 30 signups, then you can have co-GMs for extra people until there are 2 people per team) and then you get to run the team like a general manager by making trades and stuff. The league runs for a few weeks and at the end of it, you make polls in the main MLB forum and have the entire public vote on which teams have the best farm system and then have them vote on a playoff-style format for the best world series contender. This way half the teams can "buy" and half the teams can "sell" and you can either go for a godly farm system or a very good MLB team. I think it would work really well on this forum with all the activity. I would just need the go ahead from the mods.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 Mike Wilner @Wilnerness590 And yes, Jennings beats that out if Kawasaki is playing shortstop. #Bluejays #Jays Shi Davidi @ShiDavidi Jose Reyes ranges far to his right, snares grounder, throws out Desmond Jennings at first. Kawa-who? Mike Wilner @Wilnerness590 Reyes has a much, much, much better arm. @BFullmer_Fan: @Wilnerness590 Kawasaki is better defensively at SS than Reyes, so...no.

Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 What did reyes do? I missed it, maybe all you drooling over Reyes could actually say what he did? Ranged pretty far to his right (towards 3B) and made a strong throw to beat Jennings
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 So yeah, Buck just suggested that "getting on base" was a bad thing... Dem Ribeyes.
