7 GAMES IN A ROW! 2 UNDER .500! WE'RE WINNING DOWN THE STRETCH FOR THE FIRST TIME IN AGES!

Rogers great performance, coming into the 7th he's averaged 12 pitches per inning along with a no hitter 5.1 innings into the game, and how about the offence? Bautista isn't really hot right now and yet everyone is contributing to win ball games without bats

Scoring Plays:

Bottom of the 1st:

Jays score (Jays lead 1-0): Encarnacion hits a double to center field bringing in Cabrera from second

Jays score (Jays lead 2-0): Adam Lind singles up the middle, Encarnacion scores

Jays score (Jays lead 3-0): Rajai Davis singles to left, Lind scores, DeRosa out trying to scramble back to 3rd, but Rajai gets into second on the throw

Jays score (Jays lead 4-0): J.P. pulls a double to left, Davis easily plates

Bottom of the 5th:

Jays score (Jays lead 6-0): Edwin Encarnacion takes his parrot for a ride on the chicken wing! His 19th round-tripper is a two run shot bringing in Melky!

Bottom of the 6th:

Jays score (Jays lead 7-0): JP Arencibia rips his 15th homer of the year to left! Solo shot

Jays score (Jays lead 8-0): Izzy goes back-to-back! Solo shot to right on the 3rd pitch of the AB, his 4th of the season!

Top of the 7th:

Rockies score (Jays lead 8-1): Wilin Rosario singles to left, CarGo scores

Rockies score (Jays lead 8-2): Nolan Arenado grounds out to EE at first, Cuddyer scores and Rosario to 3rd

Rockies score (Jays lead 8-3): Tyler Colvin hits a grounder to Izzy that is booted and goes to left, Rosario scores on the error for an unearned run

When Reyes comes back.. I hope he doesn't take too long to get back into the thick of things.. With the team chugging along, don't want an anticlimactic addition to the roster...

Houston Astros won 6 in a row..Yes Houston Astros..

Let's not get ahead of ourselves..Let's sweep the Rockies and take 2/3 from Baltimore and then we will be in business..hell just sweep Baltimore too, never lose again.

Just a head's up, guys... I am having major bandwidth issues with this Mets/Braves series that's going on (~200ish viewers), so the Jays stream has been held off, but tomorrow should be a bit quieter, I will likely stream the game tomorrow.

it's depressing to win 7 in a row, look at the standings and see us still 8 games behind.

Not really. When I look at this teams record and where they sit after such a horrid start to the season, I am quite pleased. Since the 10-21 start the Jays have gone 24-15. This team has a chance to play some meaningful baseball in August/September if they keep this up.

Esmil Rogers is doing his best to try and make up for it. I get missing aviles but Gomes is nothing to be missed.

Was this in reply to me. I was joking. :)

yes !!1 hes been a totally different pitcher once he developed that sinker and now with every start his sinker is getting nastier and nastier

Another game I missed. They certainly do play better without me around.

You radiate with such negativity... it effects the team.

Agreed. Especially with the Yankees being a MASH unit offensively, Tampa having pitching and hitting issues, and Texas struggling to pitch as their young starters hit a wall. Jury's still out on the O's, though.

its win win. Probably won't make the playoffs but the improved play ups the trade value to the players at the trade deadline. Then they can restock the farm with great young players so we can rebuild this franchise

There is no way they trade for prospects if they are around 5 games back. Even Buerhle might stick around.
