I know I just jinxed it.... but it has been a good week for the Jays.

 

Romero gets through 6 solid innings. Gives up 3 walks, but gets a tonne of gb outs. Only gives up 2 hits.

 

Esmil Rogers, who I thought was a bum (might still be) comes in and looks like the ace of the staff. Looked very composed. Was very impressed and surprised. Went toe to toe with Yu Darvish and came up the winner.

 

The infield defense is finally starting to look passable. Man it looked awful early. Mouser is doing well at third, Boni ok at 2nd.

 

Jiminez is back and hitting well. Osuna is back and locked in. Stroman is looking good and might soon provide some depth for the big league club.

 

The bullpen has been nothing short of amazing. Old man Oliver is even coming around and I'm sure he will be gone by the trade deadline regardless how well we are playing.

 

JPA has even looked good defensively the last few games.... and ok at the plate last night.

 

Reyes is set to comeback in a couple of weeks. !!!

 

God damn Mark Buehrle. After his 1st few starts, I didn't think he had a chance to have any success whats so ever.... thought he was done. He has really provided some stability.

Dickey is the key imo. Most other starters are being decent and we can really get on a roll. But then when you get to your 'ace' and he gives up 7 runs, it's a real momentum killer.

With Reyes, Lind, EE, Bautista, Rasmus, that's enough to put up some wins.

AJ Jimenez 5 hits today... Huge massive lobsided win for the fishercats.... which is weird since they lost 16-2 to the same team the day before... (must be some kind of weird record in there somewhere).

 

We just s*** balled our way to another win... by a pitcher who might not be on the team in a month.

 

Adam Lind is amazing.... but I always feel that he's just ready to tank again at any moment... oh well... man can flat out hit.
