I guess another way is just to enter it as an internet link I actually prefer it without the videos. Even the pics are annoying, it's rather disturbing to see a near naked man pop up on my computer screen. I'm not even sure why users are posting s*** like that. Some of us have wives, children, employers etc, who really don't want/need to see this. Maybe the admin could set some sort of rule against posting inappropriate material or, at least keeping it to the off topic forum.
admin Site Manager Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 People need to put NSFW for unappropriate material. And link it rather than embedding it. I haven't really seen any 18+ content though. But we need to make this a rule and make sure it is known.

admin Site Manager Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 Yeah, I just meant me personally, I haven't been following a great deal lately, so I miss everything.

This is one of the reasons I have made these changes in my settings under the thread display options - show signatures, show avatars, and show images are not checked. Some times I have individuals who may appear out of no where and so as not to cause any offence to them these will never be seen - I can live with that. dineke Old-Timey Member Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 Astounded that some people don't appreciate beautifully built naked men.

I haven't really seen any 18+ content though. But we need to make this a rule and make sure it is known. It's really in the board owner's interest to decide on the audience they are hoping to capture while also thinking about the accessibility of the site. Any form of nudity (even cartoons/memes) can be considered porn (soft or otherwise) and there are lots of work environments which will not tolerate this. If any such image shows up on their system (it could be on their screen/display while someone is around who is easily offended) or even appear on their hard drive (temp directories/cache etc.) it could have a negative impact on them. Maybe the number of individuals who frequent the site from their work (or sensitive) environment is relatively small however the default could be set to not show signatures, avatars, and images. In this way they will be aware that changing the defaults can have a negative impact if they are not careful who is around when they are visiting the site. Anyway, this was meant to be taken as a suggestion and not as an attempt to instill censorship.
