Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 Jose Reyes (ankle) could begin a rehab assignment within a week. Reyes has been running for a week and is making "great strides" with his recovery, writes Mike Rutsey of the Toronto Sun. The shortstop will try out a pair of high top cleats in hopes that they will protect his severely sprained left ankle. Assuming he doesn't encounter any setbacks along the way, he should rejoin the Blue Jays' lineup in a few weeks. http://www.rotoworld.com/player/mlb/3605/jose-reyes

LGBJ29 Verified Member Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 great to hear. Cant expect the same sort of production from his bat right away, but he will still be a huge upgrade
crrr Verified Member Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 Despite the nice idea of having him back, I find it really hard to believe he isn't being rushed...

But because these race horses are worth millions, management is PARANOID ABOUT WHAT MAY HAPPEN IF HE STUPPED HIS TOE! Hense they get ripped off for another month for leaving a "game changer" player on the DL. It's utter stupidity!
