Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 Darvish is nutty. Like him more than Felix actually. Projections be damned. what about your picks?
Nox Verified Member Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 what about your picks? This Darrell is not in The Darrell Dynasty League. I prefer to pick up the lucrative fees generated by consulting for multiple GMs.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 So do I. He's easily my favourite pitcher to watch right now. The next guy with +300K's +12K/9 * 240IP = +320K's
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 This Darrell is not in The Darrell Dynasty League. I prefer to pick up the lucrative fees generated by consulting for multiple GMs. Marvin Miller or Scott Boras
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 He's on pace. 105 through 11 starts. 1/3 of the road
Nox Verified Member Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 Was the last Pedro? Insert obligatory prime Pedro fapping.
SpeedyGose Verified Member Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 With Wheeler and Sanchez, I'm one of three DDLers (havok22, speedygose) with two prospects on this list! Sanchez is going to look great with Lee and Hamels mentoring him in Philly. We are clearly the best drafters
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 Haha. Pitchers are just easier to evaluate and trade, since everyone needs pitching. I plan on doing a lot of wheeling-and-dealing. My pitching depth is the envy of DDL. Yeah, because you're the only person who took 5 pitchers.

I plan on doing a lot of wheeling-and-dealing. My pitching depth is the envy of DDL. It is? Darvish and Cueto are a pretty good 1-2, and Bailey is an ok 3. Not much to be envious of after that.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 Step aside son Felix Harvey Lynn Cobb Doubront Davis Locke Hernandez Archer Syndergaard Stratton I think he meant purely in terms of prospects who are worth more than your established guys.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 Was the last Pedro? yeah. Morrow and Scherzer were the two candidates with more chance before the Morrow transformation. Morrow K/9 2011 - 10.2 2012 - 7.8 2013 - 6.9

Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2013 Author Posted May 29, 2013 Elite offence > Elite pitching
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 Idk how this turned into a DDL circle jerk but I will join in...I have 3 guys because I guess No49 just skimmed and I have 2 guys I feel will be there next year in Winker and Berrios but they're still teenagers. Winker's wOBA is 20 points behind Buxton's at the same age but with a BABIP also 20 points behind and similar walk and k rates.
Nox Verified Member Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 Elite offence > Elite pitching In keeper leagues: + a billion
TRM Verified Member Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 Elite offence > Elite pitching Absolutely, but at least when I spew propaganda, mine makes sense. I do have the best rotation, unlike No49. And I would like to think my batters are legit also..

Winker's wOBA is 20 points behind Buxton's at the same age but with a BABIP also 20 points behind and similar walk and k rates. This matters very little, but I easily could have had two guys, if I didn't send you Correa, and Gausman didn't get the call. But alas, I have zero, therefore years of toiling in last place are soon to come..
TRM Verified Member Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 You hear back from Marc? Nope, hoping to hear from him tomorrow. You got me excited looking at that Flames roster. Boy I could do some things with it..
TRM Verified Member Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 Yeah, you do kinda have the best rotation. I don't believe JFaS did his power rankings this week, but it'd be close. I'm very high in all pitching categories and have the best pitching prospects. I never said I had the best pitching, just said my depth was the envy of the league. I just like to antagonize you, and you make it so easy with all your bold proclamations of your greatness.
TRM Verified Member Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 I didn't really look at it, so what do you mean by that? Empty farm, or stacked one? The defencemen were very nice, although the Pronger and Visnovsky (I think it was, two expensive old guys) will likely become albatrosses. And then Stamkos, Kopitar and some other nice forwards, along with a legit goalie (Rinne, if I remember correctly). All around a legit place to start.
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 I have the most guys from Cali..just saying
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 Holy f*** regarding Darvish: Randy Johnson had 290+ strikeouts NINE times in his career. In 2001, he had 372. And he pitched during the steroid era! Best ever?
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2013 Author Posted May 29, 2013 Yes, I believe it is. Clearly.
TRM Verified Member Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 Kreider, Kuznetsov, Coyle, Gudas, Siemens, Gelchenyuk, Dumba, Hertl and 3 1sts this year He has the most loaded organization in the league. IMO taking over the Oilers would be more fun. Yeah, I think the Oilers would probably be more fun. But I f***ing love to win, so it would be tough. I just want to trade for Tom Wilson. I hope that the Sens manager isn't attached to him.
TRM Verified Member Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 Clearly. If anyone hasn't noticed, No49 would have us call off the rest of the season, and next year also, and declare him the champ already.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 If anyone hasn't noticed, No49 would have us call off the rest of the season, and next year also, and declare him the champ already. He padded his stats by playing my team already.

TRM Verified Member Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 Probably wouldn't be that unreasonable, if this week's scores hold I'll be 46 categories over .500. *Facepalm*
Fearthedoc Verified Member Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 Arizona's young pitching is filthy. Probably the best young pitching in the majors (rivalled by Seattle, Pittsburgh, Baltimore, St. Louis, Tampa Bay)
