Like them, they have an unbelievable record when scoring first (20-3, 87% win!). Chris Johnson is hitting well, with a club leading 15 multi-hit games, and he has a 7 game hit streak (as in games that he's started in) In the 30 regular season games between the clubs, it is evenly split at 15-15, although the Braves have recently taken control, going 8-1 against the Jays since 2009 Jays: The Jays have a good chance to win if Buherle can keep them in the game. Toronto's coming off 3 wins in their last 4 with the offence turning around and the pitching improving a bit. The Braves are 2-8 against the Jays in the Rogers Center, and haven't fared well so far this year on inter league road games as they are currently on a 5 game losing streak in AL parks this year. Colby Rasmus (who's the older brother of Braves rookie relief pitcher Cory Rasmus) is 5-11 in his career against Hudson, and Bautista's been on fire as he's pushing for a .300+ batting average as he's hit a phenomenal 14/25 (.560!) with two homers and 5 RBIs in his last 6 games Bonifacio has been improving not only defensively, but offensively as well, quietly hitting .316 in the last 12 games with two homers and much more sound defense. Adam Lind's 2-5 performance last afternoon against the O's marked his 4th straight game with multiple hits. The lefty first baseman has had multi hit games in 6 of his last 10 contests Josh Johnson is having his side session here in the Rogers Center as per Shi Davidi. A good sign that he won't miss extra games, and could be up sooner than later Standings: http://i.imgur.com/MajeyLN.png Venue: http://www.andrewclem.com/Baseball/Diag/RogersCentre.gif I hope you guys enjoy the game and the GDT! Please leave feedback and ideas/improvements for future GDTs! Edited May 27, 2013 by fatcowxlive

o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 Every win is huge Might as well win this one it will be easy, if they can just find a way to not give up 6 runs in the first 2 innings and get hits with runners on, they'll be great. lol

Metallijay Verified Member Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 I feel the the top of the order is going to feast on Hudson. We will do some work on the Braves this week. They aren't nearly as good as the record indicates. How this season has gone and how incompetent the jays have been at times I have no idea who you can say this with a straight face.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 Wow, BJ Upton is having an abysmal season so far.

bzapple Verified Member Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 Just occurred to me...is this the first time Reed Johnson's played in Toronto since leaving? I don't remember ever hosting the Cubs or Dodgers.

havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 You just know BJ Upton is going break out of his cold spell against us.

Rajaifailedgrade1 Verified Member Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 21-29, 6.5 games out of wild card.. Time to start winning series...Splits don't get you anywhere.
BlueJayWay Verified Member Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 A split of these four games would be doing well. I fear they lose 3 out of 4

Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 Is it American pro-military zealotry day?
Metallijay Verified Member Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 A split of these four games would be doing well. I fear they lose 3 out of 4 The terrible april cost this team any chance for any more error, it's time to start winning series, and eventually when JJ and Happ and reyes get back, go on a winning streak sometime this year.

Rajaifailedgrade1 Verified Member Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 Wow, finally a sensible post from you. CONGRATS Gold post I've decided not to be a negative douch anymore after a terrible nightmare I had where a Mod sent me an infraction warning. Anything worse than a split in these next 4 games and I may relapse.
Metallijay Verified Member Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 I will be shocked if we win this series............A split is about the best I accept.
