o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 we know that JPA isn't Egyptian, they walk http://barelyablog.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/walk_like_an_egyptian500w.jpg
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 Mark has a 'veterin' present for Jose? Gah! That was terrible you could see Jose flinch because he was afraid Lawrie was gonna hurt him.
Chappy Community Moderator Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 JP Arencibia's OBP is 30 points below the career average of John McDonald JPA is a smart man, the walk to the dugout is shorter than the walk to 1B. Top 10 catchers need to concerve their energy.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 We should start a thread to post funny pictures from this year. Funny angle from sportsnet last night. http://i1312.photobucket.com/albums/t538/BlueJays20131/lawrielol_zpsb3f417af.jpg if you cant be an athlete, be an athletic supporter http://www.mcdavidusa.com/images/products/323CPR_M.jpg

Chappy Community Moderator Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 it's not catch baseballs that he's saving his energy for... All those big swings are gettin him laid Life of a top 10 catcher.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 Will this be Jose Fernandez 2.0 or will Kevin get lit up? I have him in my fantasy pool but I REALLY want the Jays to take 3/4 here, starting tonight. There's really nothing to go on with this guy - he's thrown a grand total of 60 innings. The only thing that jumps out is the control. My feeling is that he'll be staying outside corner to the batters today, so if we look opposite field we'll probably do well. If we try to pull everything it's going to be a long night. Last year lefties hit him fairly well, this year there isn't much of a split difference. Regardless, it's far too small a sample size.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 Life of a top 10 catcher. I'm sure he's catching something... his problem is that all of his game is off the field. what we need is some hot chicks to convince him that walks get him laid. that must be within AA's budget?
Chappy Community Moderator Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 At what point does Gibby go off the handle and demand Thole is called up?

o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 f*** it just call up Thole. I'm sure Gibbons is asking for it. AA has given gibbons a plunger and asked him to cut lumber.
JohnnyLonghorn Verified Member Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 We definitely have the edge in the pitching matchup today, hopefully Morrow can have have a good outing today.

Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 Doesn't anyone know a hot girl that could go to a game holding up a sign that said "Walks are sexy!"?

I'm calling a big win for the Jays tonight. I am even backing it up with a small bet, and I typically never bet on Jays games. Hopefully that walk off can carry some momentum for this group of idiots.
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 who is this announcer? Thought I was on the orioles feed
Bluebird Nerd Verified Member Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 I can't seem to tune in from the rogers website...
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 His control along with high 90 heat is nothing to sneeze at, the thing is our club kinda feasts off hard throwers! This kid is for real.......having said that..... It really is odd. Against power pitchers this year, we have an .831 ops.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 who is this announcer? Thought I was on the orioles feed He's the Raptors official nut hugger. expect a lot of Rogers drooling
