Rajaifailedgrade1 Verified Member Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 Is Dickey ever going to settle in and pitch like an ace? Horrible trade This guy looks nothin like last year
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 Is Dickey ever going to settle in and pitch like an ace? I'm beginning to accept that the answer is no.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 2 outs nobody on and he gives up 2, way to go Dickey!
Rajaifailedgrade1 Verified Member Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 Pitching injured doesn't help. Keep feeding excuses
Tuco Verified Member Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 Is Dickey ever going to settle in and pitch like an ace? I wouldnt count on it. It looks like his 15 minutes are up. This isnt the NL, no more pitcher to face, better lineups, a DH. Looks like we aquired Tim Wakefield circa 2007. I really cant believe we gave up arguably 2 of our 3 best prospects for this trick pitcher and hes only doing to decline from here.
baseballsss Verified Member Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 is it just me or does every star players own the jays. manny, arod, longo, price, king felix. Why can't the jays get these guys out.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 Longoria is such a fantastic player. Longo is damn good
Metallijay Verified Member Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 We'll it's no longer early, dickey looks like a bad deal.
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 is it just me or does every star players own the jays. manny, arod, longo, price, king felix. Why can't the jays get these guys out. you forgot jason nix, and kelly johnson
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 There's a franchise player for you. Bautista on the other hand....ok, he can hit home runs and get mad at umps for strike calls.
Tuco Verified Member Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 Longoria is such a fantastic player. Yep and he seems like a extremely low maintenance star player also.
Rajaifailedgrade1 Verified Member Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 Can they broadcast pitch tracks on the scoreboard in centre so the dumbf*** ump can see how s***** that call was
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 kyle drabek Good first live bullpen today... First time seeing someone in the box since June haha can't wait to be 100%
Cello Verified Member Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 Dickey 51 pitches, 32 strikes Odorizzi 60 pitches, 41 strikes
Rajaifailedgrade1 Verified Member Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 Here comes another 2 walk 2 hit inning by our ace
Cello Verified Member Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 Longoria is such a fantastic player. Eva is a rare talent.
Tuco Verified Member Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 Wakefield circa 2007 4.76 ERA 1.35 whip Looks like that will be prolly what we get around with Dickey going foward
GD Old-Timey Member Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 Holy s*** the wind is blowing hard today.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 If Gose is playing instead of Bautista we're winning right now, how sad a statement is that?
Tuco Verified Member Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 This ballpark also isnt a good fit for Dickey Its tiny and the ball travels like crazy.
Metallijay Verified Member Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 Man dickey has too many pitches that just float of the heart of the plate.
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 This ballpark also isnt a good fit for Dickey Its tiny and the ball travels like crazy. excuses
Tuco Verified Member Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 excuses Huh? I'm not making excuses for the guy. Just a few posts earlier I basically called him out for sucking and saying the trade for him looks absolutely brutal and is only going to get worse.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 Man dickey has too many pitches that just float of the heart of the plate. Thats cause his knuckleball is only at 70 mph today.
