Dude Verified Member Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 Yellow dress those were terrible questions "Dickey, how happy were you when EE cleared the bases?" Next question "Dickey, how happy are you about pitching 8 innings?"
oakville69 Verified Member Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 So the Jays have hired Caroline Cameron for post game player interviews.... Hmm. She is better looking than Sam Cosentino or Arash Madani. Are the Jays copying NESN, when they hired Heidi Watney & Hazel Mae?
digiblader Verified Member Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 OFs do this all the time--Jose's fine. Meanwhile, former Jay Yan Gomes just hit a walkoff blast off of Charlie Furbush--Indians just keep winning, and making it difficult for the Tigers.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 Jays win and Escobar with a dinger! I am happy today I had to slap Escobar's bobblehead for being a smart ass!!
cesarb182 Verified Member Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 Yan Gomes just hit a walk off home run. His second of the game. .302 AVG with .951 OPS and great defense. Thole/Gomes platoon looks pretty good right about now. I saw that, he is awesome, worst move that we made was trade him and aviles for that rogers dipshit that won't do nothing all season
Chappy Community Moderator Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 Good win for the Jays today. Hopefully another good one tomorrow. Time for this team to man up and stop f***ing around.

ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 Yan Gomes is kind of a nice story and he's been hot, but is just a guy. Probably, but my issue with this trade is why do you have to give up Aviles and throw in Gomes for Esmil freakin' Rogers? Gomes is good enough to be Terry Francona's back up catcher with the Indians.
Randy The Robot Verified Member Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 So YOU'RE Randy the Robot... why do you follow around RajaiFailedGradeOne or whoever? - His posts are always great. I feel as if I should reward him by thanking them. Honestly, kind of ridiculous all of you don't do the same.

That's my point, rogers aren't doing s*** and he still won't do nothing besides give up some inherited runs and mess up with everything
cesarb182 Verified Member Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 check out that clutch perfect throw http://mlb.mlb.com/video/play.jsp?content_id=26922465 you think arencibia or blanco would do this
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 That trade was bad and I think we can say that definitively. Rogers doesn't strike anyone out and has little fastball command. His breaking ball is a show-me pitch, not a real weapon. Aviles is a useful player. AA should have signed one of the many mid-tier relievers on the FA market instead, I don't know why he always looks to the trade market. The issue for me is the overpayment in terms of players. I'm sure Gomes will end up back at AAA, but along with Aviles, it's just too much to give up for Rogers. Same with the Happ trade. Same with the Marlins trade and same with the Mets trade. AA decides he'll get a particular player and he does it regardless of what he gives up, it's an awful way to run a team.

We aren't going anywhere until the rotation gets fixed Vik . All the offense in the world can't win with the rotation we have now unless we start scoring in double figures most games and hell we don't even put up crooked numbers against guys like phelps
Metallijay Verified Member Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 You're a Ray of sunshine today mate?!?! Well, he is right, until the pitching gets on track, we have zero chance.
digiblader Verified Member Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 Well, Johnson's on the way, Dickey's been pitching better.. and the bullpen remains a strength. We just need to hit. Still interested to see if Ramon Ortiz can keep pitching well tomorrow..

Johnson has an era over 6, buerhle has been a disaster, morrow has regressed so far and has been bad, happ is happ lol Rotation has a long way to go.

I think you mean to say Morrow has declined, not regressed. Anyay, it doesn't matter what they've done so far, what matters is what kind of performance you expect from them going forward. JJ isn't a 6 ERA pitcher lol.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 I want Hutchison back, badly Ortiz is not gonna keep this up for long...
