I add all the players individually for my leaderboards and then export the data to excel.

 

That would take forever and a half lol.

He's done with being a quarterback. He's moved on to cornerback now.

In hindsight, maybe throwing money at a football crazed athlete who emphatically told baseball teams not to draft him wasn't so clever. Funny to think how it seemed like such a ninja move at the time.

On twitter, someone asked him when he was going to commit to baseball full time and he responded saying "might be sooner rather than later", but quickly deleted the tweet. The organization is pushing him hard to play baseball full time as well. I also read that he could play baseball full time as soon as next season, I guess we will just have to see what happens.

 

This is interesting. I had pretty much written him off as a lost cause at this point. Might not just be the pressure from the Jays that's getting to him, there might be some strain in his relationship with Ole Miss. I have a hard time imagining this guy willingly leaving football otherwise.

 

Is there any reason for optimism here or has too much development time been wasted?

If he showed up full time next season, it would be like getting a high upside college guy... He's got very little chance at being a pro with Football, but could have a career in baseball (even if he never cracks the majors, he could easily be the sort of dude who hangs around the minors a long time.)

He played those games, then he left for football...

Probably not, there's really not much of a minor league system in football, and he wouldn't be good enough to make it to the show right out of the draft...
