They should change the logo on the bluejay hat to make it more stylish cuz right now the cartoonish bird picture is not. Make it a letter symbol, so it doesn't look so stupid if you try to wear it when you're not actually at a jays game.

He won't hit 30 without improving his peripherals a bit though, so that would be a great thing.

 

He is on pace for about 40 or so right now. I agree his peripherals are god aweful, but when he does make contact he crushes the ball. The sad thing is he could be a pretty good OBP guy the way pitchers seem to pitch him this season, but its almost like he tries to avoid the walks at all costs.

The thing is, if JPA hits 30 bombs this year which looks pretty good right now, he is going to be considered one of the best catchers in baseball. It's sad but a good thing for the Jays if he is looked upon that way. Provides a great trade chip.

 

Trade JPA for a higher end young 2nd baseman, and sign McCann With that said, I really don't mind JPA behind the plate (and I know I'm probably alone in that).
