G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted May 16, 2013 Posted May 16, 2013 The Giants GDT on their MLB forum is pretty funny, they are losing it. And they REALLY hate Melky even more after this series. Sweet Suck it Boachy
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted May 16, 2013 Posted May 16, 2013 GM's fall for this type of s*** all the time. If you don't watch a player play everyday you tend to focus more on the offensive than the defensive stats. JPA + Stroman for Zunino, Jack Z is a pretty retarded gm.

Shogun89 Verified Member Posted May 16, 2013 Posted May 16, 2013 They should change the logo on the bluejay hat to make it more stylish cuz right now the cartoonish bird picture is not. Make it a letter symbol, so it doesn't look so stupid if you try to wear it when you're not actually at a jays game.
Chappy Community Moderator Posted May 16, 2013 Posted May 16, 2013 He won't hit 30 without improving his peripherals a bit though, so that would be a great thing. He is on pace for about 40 or so right now. I agree his peripherals are god aweful, but when he does make contact he crushes the ball. The sad thing is he could be a pretty good OBP guy the way pitchers seem to pitch him this season, but its almost like he tries to avoid the walks at all costs.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted May 16, 2013 Author Posted May 16, 2013 Ortiz looks like he could go 7, wouldn't that be a pleasant surprise. AA better not be dumn and sell high on Ortiz too
Jays Verified Member Posted May 16, 2013 Posted May 16, 2013 lol @ that Ramon Ortiz story Buck just told.
CHRIS Verified Member Posted May 16, 2013 Posted May 16, 2013 Ortiz looks like he could go 7, wouldn't that be a pleasant surprise. That would be great. Pitch count pretty respectable.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted May 16, 2013 Posted May 16, 2013 four solid innings from Ortiz!!! LETS GO BLUE JAYS!!!
Chappy Community Moderator Posted May 16, 2013 Posted May 16, 2013 A we talking about the same FO?? AA style, lol.
CHRIS Verified Member Posted May 16, 2013 Posted May 16, 2013 lol @ that Ramon Ortiz story Buck just told. I feel like Buck found a book of generic baseball stories at a garage sale and inserted Ortiz' name into one.

bendera3 Verified Member Posted May 16, 2013 Posted May 16, 2013 If he hits 30 dingers, there's no way they trade him. They're more likely to build a statue of him outside of the stadium. If that happened I imagine that would be the place to meet all the single women.
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted May 16, 2013 Posted May 16, 2013 Our averages are sky rocketing upward!!
Chappy Community Moderator Posted May 16, 2013 Posted May 16, 2013 Lind to LF according to Tabler if Melky needs to DH.
CHRIS Verified Member Posted May 16, 2013 Posted May 16, 2013 Lawrie looking better at the plate as well.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted May 16, 2013 Posted May 16, 2013 Melky is killing the ball. he'd have to be dead to let Gibbons take him out
CHRIS Verified Member Posted May 16, 2013 Posted May 16, 2013 If that happened I imagine that would be the place to meet all the single women. Yeah, like they'd even notice you next to a bronzed version of JPA.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted May 16, 2013 Posted May 16, 2013 The thing is, if JPA hits 30 bombs this year which looks pretty good right now, he is going to be considered one of the best catchers in baseball. It's sad but a good thing for the Jays if he is looked upon that way. Provides a great trade chip. Trade JPA for a higher end young 2nd baseman, and sign McCann With that said, I really don't mind JPA behind the plate (and I know I'm probably alone in that).
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted May 16, 2013 Author Posted May 16, 2013 yur dumn Lol that fish dude is talking s*** about you in the other board http://www.forums.mlb.com/n/pfx/forum.aspx?tsn=1&nav=messages&webtag=ml-bluejays&tid=91297
