o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 Holy f***ing s*** that was a lucky ass bunt... it actually looked like it went out at a point they are using the kind of tape that is used on clay tennis courts. there is a small channel where they sweep the line over the season. that ball was just too weak to get over the line.

ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 I just saw that Jiminez is back playing and doing well (small sample size) .375 avg, OPS over 1.037 I wonder if he could finish the year at AAA. Considering his age I dont think its far fetched we could see him in the majors at some point next season. My hope is that Nolin, Stroman (as a SP), Stilson, Jimenez and Pillar play 2 months or more in AAA. Also, Sanchez, Burns to AA, and Lopes, Osuna (not anymore with the probable TJS), and maybe Smith Jr to A+. Also, looking to see Gose, Sierra and Goins improve. They're not super prospects, but this team badly needs guys in the upper minors and as cheap bench and 4th, 5th and 6th starter options for the ML club. Also looking forward to Hutchison and Perez coming back.

Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 Good job Rasmus, could use another double by Boni here.

Nolin reaching AAA, Stroman reaching MLB, Stilson and Jimenez reaching AAA, and Pillar reaching MLB, with Jacob Anderson hitting some form of A-ball with Gose managing to cut down the K's and Alberto Tirado and Christian Lopes breaking out is my lottery ticket like dream. Dalton Pompey becoming a legit prospect and not a younger Michael Crouse would be great, too. Gose looking like a less than spectacular bench player / defensive replacement right about now. Doesn't he have like a .350 OBP? Lol
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 ... am I dreaming? a walk? o.0 He manages a walk about every 3 games... unlike JP, every 20 games.
Arkadium Verified Member Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 ... am I dreaming? a walk? o.0 Rasmus 4th on the team in BBs...
Arkadium Verified Member Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 He manages a walk about every 3 games... unlike JP, every 20 games. JP on pace for 7-8 walks this season! *GASP*
GD Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 Even when Bonifacio goes something right, s*** goes wrong. That looks really bad. Hope Victorino's okay.
Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 WOW. (Uh oh Victorino). BONI WITH A BOMB o.0

ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 Gose looking like a less than spectacular bench player / defensive replacement right about now. Oh yeah, I agree Gose has struggled of late, but he has time to turn things around and he does take his BB which is a positive. As I said, this team will need guys like him, Pillar or Sierra to save money as bench options as well as guys like Nolin, Stroman, Hutchison to provide depth for the rotation next year with all the money committed to older players.
frizzer1 Verified Member Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 ... am I dreaming? a walk? o.0 Rasmus is going to set an all time mlb record for strikeouts and Dempster walks him???
deadlee Verified Member Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 Boni trolling today!!! 5-0 Good Guys!! (..and Shane's back up!)
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 All that and he stays in? lol Glad he's okay
GD Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 Is Vic staying in the game? Wow, that's impressive. He's a trooper.
Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 the hell. man I thought he had a broken rib or something. -.-
Arkadium Verified Member Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 Doesn't he have like a .350 OBP? Lol .338 OBP in AAA (.228 BA)... that probably equates to about .290 OBP in ML?
dmrich28 Verified Member Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 who's the fat guy running on the field high fiving Victorino LOL
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 That last replay angle from the BP was awesome! Good to see Victorino is okay.
