He's 1-0 with a 4.12 ERA in his career against the Jays (4 starts). Mike Napoli is in a mini-slump right now as he's 6 for his last 37 at bats (.162 average) with 10 Ks in those 10 games. He looks to start heating up as the Sox have been relying on him for production so far this season. Jays: Morrow's start has been pushed to Wednesday, where he'll pitch against the San Francisco Giants in the 2nd game of that series. Delebar has pitched well out of the bullpen, and finds himself top in the AL in strikeouts for relief pitchers and 4th in innings pitched out of the bullpen. Casey Janssen has done a phenomenal job out of the bullpen in the closer's role. He's 10/10 in saves and has only four hits allowed one earned run in all of 2013! Tuco Verified Member Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 Could we maybe get our second series win of the year? The offense will have to put up at least 6+ runs me thinks
theblujay Verified Member Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 I'm kind of excited to see Jenkins, but I hope they didn't rush him back too early. It would be nice if we could get something of value out of our 1st rounders Jenkins and McGuire.

ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 Gotta get to Dempster today, they let him off the hook in Toronto when they had the chance to win that series.

Metallijay Verified Member Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 It's time for bautista to get going, the offense needs a big day from him he has been really quiet. Need the bats today.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 I can't believe we have only won ONE series so far. That is just retarded.

Metallijay Verified Member Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 how about they start a new trend by making the opposing pitcher throw more than 7 pitches in the first inning? Yes this would be nice, team is so flawed at the plate.
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 I'm feeling good today, I think the bats will wake up! I'm going with 8-6 jays win.

oakville69 Verified Member Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 Can anyone explain to me the logic of JPA hitting 4th? He doesn't walk. He can hit HR's but he's more of an all or nothing guy. What's Gibby up to with this move? I find the constant batting order changes to be distracting.

JohnnyLonghorn Verified Member Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 Holy crap, J.P has a .255 OBP? How is it even possible to be that bad? LOL Gibby has him cleanup what a joke. He should be hitting 7th and Lawrie (with his .540 OPS) should be hitting 8th or 9th
Rajaifailedgrade1 Verified Member Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 Arencibia displays too much swagger for a guy that calls terrible games , is a liability defensively and has no idea how to work a count.

Lind should be batting 4th, but gibby has taken heat for changing the lineup too much so he's going to roll with the same lineup as yesterday..lol
