Rays:

  • The Rays' Matt Moore threw 5 innings last night leading to the Rays achiving what only 3 other teams have achived, having their starters go at least 5 innings in 33 straight games
  • Rays have given up the lead in 13 of their 17 losses
  • 27/33 games played this season have been against teams with a winning record. 3 of them were against the White Sox, and today is the 4th game against the struggling Blue Jays

 

Jays:

  • DeRosa's playing time has been significantly increased since his big game against the Mariners
  • Jays can snap streak of 17 straight series wins at home by the Rays vs. Jays if the Jays get the win
  • Sergio Santos looks to be out for at least 2 more weeks. His rehab program is scheduled to start early next week

Arencibia should be DH'ing no questions asked. But with the current lineup, who's a better option? Lawrie has been absolutely terrible so far thi syear.
