I refuse to believe that his career is over. I could see Doc signing a cheap 5M contract with an option year or two with the Jays for 2014. Could be an awesome low risk high reward pick up and for the Jays. Plus, it's doc! How awesome would it be to see him return to T.o!?

Why don't the Jays just try and obtain the best players they can, instead of having a walk down memory lane? And the fans didn't actually care until word broke he was in Philly for a physical. All the "him leaving talk" to that point didn't seem to phase the fans, nor did it seem like they cared.
Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 enough with the old pitchers let's get some young dynamic arms instead if the team doesn't turn it around soon, i'm all in for a bautista trade for a young electric arm

Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 sure... a sell low if the jays are still out of it mid june and bautista is hot like he usually is in June, then pull the trigger
CHRIS Verified Member Posted May 9, 2013 Posted May 9, 2013 Tough finish to Doc's career, regardless if he's able to pitch again.
