Everyone did, I think NJH and I were the biggest advocators, maybe BTS. It's a shame he f***ing signed with Colorado.

Sure would Ken. I just want to see these guys keep working the counts. Moore is wild and really racking up the pitch count. The sooner we get to the pen the better.

Having Jenkins (hurt), Redmond (hurt) and Romero as your three pitchers on the 40 man was an issue. DFA'ing all of the other old spot starters for pieces that weren't needed is another issue. Once Ricky was sent down, not stretching out Lincoln was also an issue. I just don't like anything AA does with the minor roster moves.

 

Your right Kev . The options just aren't there which is why i cut strings with blanco . We need that roster spot . Jenkins needs a couple more starts at least coming off the DL so that left EG as the only option.

I'm reminded of a thread at the old board "Should we be afraid of Matt Moore?" and how I got slammed by multiple posters in colourful language for saying no

Not hard to figure out there was no options on the 40 man roster but for RR and The Mexican . .
