JFD Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 Romero got pulled already? geez, what a loser
GD Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 Atta boy Boni! Edgar Gonzalez is trending in Canada lol. Even during a Leafs playoff game, the Jays have massive internet support. Lol that's just awesome.
Dude Verified Member Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 Anybody think Kawasaki had influence at that approach by Boni.
Arkadium Verified Member Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 Boni swings at guaranteed ball 4 for the chance of a hit..... smart thinking!
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 Lawrie is too amped up on redbull.. dude needs to relax
Arkadium Verified Member Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 Lawrie really looked good in 2011 but has really lost his sense of abilities at the plate.
JaysZee Verified Member Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 To think all our efforts against matt moore, of very little use
Chappy Community Moderator Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 Vik , the only starter on the 40 man is Jenkins and he has made only one start in AA on May 6th Then send 2 guys down and call up 2 relievers. Send down Romero and Gonzalez for two fresher arms and then call Gonzalez back up in a few days.
Metallijay Verified Member Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 Cabrera thinks he is playing cricket hahaha what was he swinging at there? First pitch no less, hit the dirt a foot in front of home plate.
theblujay Verified Member Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 I was actually excited about this game...not so much anymore.
Arkadium Verified Member Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 Lawrie is too amped up on redbull.. dude needs to relax Imagine the toll 10 cans of red bull a day is going to take on his future health... that stuff is garbage
GD Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 Hopefully Gonzalez can give us a couple innings with a minimal amount of runs given up. I think our offense will come through. We just need pitching.
Metallijay Verified Member Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 I was actually excited about this game...not so much anymore. It's the ricky romero effect, he depresses everyone around him. I feel depressed just looking at him in the dugout.
Doc Verified Member Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 Our supposed strength always turns out to be our weakness.
Metallijay Verified Member Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 This team is in big trouble right now with this pitching staff, unless a miracle happens.
kgm1 Verified Member Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 40 man roster problems would be solved if they DFAd Blanco and brought up Thole
Chappy Community Moderator Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 It's the ricky romero effect, he depresses everyone around him. I feel depressed just looking at him in the dugout. LOL, I know what you mean.
cesarb182 Verified Member Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 hahaha what was he swinging at there? First pitch no less, hit the dirt a foot in front of home plate. i think he was expecting that the ball would bounce back to the strike zone and he would slap that son of a bitch
JaysZee Verified Member Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 This team is in big trouble right now with this pitching staff, unless a miracle happens. No one can hit out of this much trouble
Arkadium Verified Member Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 You know we might just win this, TB is not a good offensive club... we may just pull it off again.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 s***, DeRosa's at 2nd? I thought he was DHing for whatever reason. Someone told me he couldn't play there on the old board but he looks decent there.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 ROFL, Romero really is depressed then since it didn't work. he's not depressed. he just trying to figure out to get back to the hotel without getting beat up.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 I'd like to know what Dirk thought the other options were.
