G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 All three teams had very high expectations going in to the season. All three have atrocious W-L records so far as we all know. Jays 13-21 Angels 11-21 Dodgers 13-19 Only Houston and Miami are worse. It's incredible really. So who turns it around and who doesn't. And why?
GD Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 1.) Dodgers 2.) Blue Jays 3.) Angels You just can't really argue with the Dodgers' pitching. The Angels do kinda suck, though.
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 Dodgers have the best chance. Angels the worst. Jays not far from behind. It has to do with the rotation. Dodgers have the best of the three and they can come back. Angels are just pathetic, forget about them. The Jays have a good three of Dickey, Morrow and Johnson. However, I have no faith in Buehrle or Romero, or whoever has to replace Happ.
Metallijay Verified Member Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 The jays cause i'm a homer. Seriously though, the offense is good enough to get back to .500 until reyes, JJ and happ get back imp. Need romero to step up though, and RA and buerhle to get it together.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted May 8, 2013 Author Posted May 8, 2013 I've also asked these guys for an opinion. Hopefully they answer the tweet @keithlaw @Ken_Rosenthal Curious re. your opinion: Most likely to bounce back and make playoffs - Dodgers, Angels, or Blue Jays???
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 Every year, there's a team that goes on a tear late in the season and makes the playoffs. Athletics last year, Tampa and St.louis 2 years ago, so there's always a chance for the Jays. But more likely is that they're f***ed.

Post here if they do.

Exact same title as the one on Bleacher report.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted May 8, 2013 Author Posted May 8, 2013 Did you get this idea from bleacher report? Exact same title as the one on Bleacher report. Coincidence. I never go to Bleacher Report. It's just sort of an obvious question I guess.
Bluejays0988 Verified Member Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 As much as I'd love to say the Jays the rotation is really inconsistent, and now with the injuries to Happ and Johnson we have to rely on Romero(who may not be ready) and whoever fills the 5th spot? Not to mention the other 3 have underperformed big time. A rotation that had a lot of promise before the season began now looks very average.
Metallijay Verified Member Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 The jays went 27-14 2 season ago with half the talent, no reason this team cannot go on a good run and be back in it. The pitching worries me though.
Dick_Pole Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 Just from watching the past three games - Jays. A mix of luck and tenacity seems that the offense is turning it around. I respect the Giants current roster a lot more than I respect any roster of the four division opponents of the Jays so the Dodgers will have a lot tougher fight.

Because three games and tenacity is a great barometer of the rest of the season. Sounds like Hawk and #tWtW lol.
ErrorcebiaPassedBall Verified Member Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 Dodgers, Jays, Angels in that order. Angels are just terrible. I didn't think they would be quite this bad, but I never understood the hype. Pitching is a joke.
Clomero Verified Member Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 angels and dodgers they have great starting pitching just a lot of injuries they also have a star filled lineup both make the playoffs book it
