If you pick the correct player you will earn the corresponding points. Players more unlikely to hit a home run will earn you more points than those likely to knock one out. Below is a list of the points each player is worth today. Points will change daily depending on whether the player is on a hot or cold streak, and bonus points will be available on random days. You can only pick one player, and you can't change once you picked. You must have your pick in before the first pitch of the game. Daily lineups will be posted roughly a hour before the game. I will keep track of points and the board member with the most points at the end of the year wins! http://i1312.photobucket.com/albums/t538/BlueJays20131/lineup2_zps1982dea6.jpg 1. Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted June 2, 2013 Author Posted June 2, 2013 Lindogg! Also, any chance you could re-score the standings to be by place? So, those with 4 points would be in 11th, those with 8 in 14th, etc. Done! Now makes it easier to see who will make the playoffs.

Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 Why is Rasmus (8 HRs) worth fewer points than JP (12 HR)?
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 Why is Rasmus (8 HRs) worth fewer points than JP (12 HR)? Pitching match up?
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted June 2, 2013 Author Posted June 2, 2013 Why is Rasmus (8 HRs) worth fewer points than JP (12 HR)? Rasmus is our hottest hitter right now, and Lind.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 I'll take Arencibia tonight Just. I dunno.

G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 I'm totally going with Josh Johnson Tuesday...
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 Quiz: In 2009 Josh Johnson had an OPS of .620 That's better than 4 position players on this year's roster Name those 4 players without looking it up Bonus point if you can name the third baseman with an OPS just barely better than that. And no it's not Mark DeRosa.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 (edited) And then think about how pathetic that is Just think about it Edited June 3, 2013 by G-Snarls

And no it's not Mark DeRosa. kawasaki has no power... so 1, Blanco but he hardly plays 2, Izturis is a strike out powerless noodle arm 3, ? isn't Bonifacio in there too... he has a couple triples and a couple HR, but he's an auto out most AB. so 4? Lawrie is only hitting 185ish... but he has a couple HRs, so I think he's not quite that sucky. jpa has too many HRs to be in that group... but that would be the next guess. Melky has not had much power either, but he's on base all the time and had a miracle revival in may... so he should be safe. I think everyone else should be 700 or higher.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 I guess I could of said the last 4 guys in the lineup when we play an american league team.

G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 Thanks for playing. OPS quiz answer: Blanco .465 Izturis .554 Bonifacio .584 Kawasaki .613 2009 Josh Johnson .620 Lawrie .642
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 Well reasoned just had to count out the guys I knew weren't on that list. lol working backwards can be easier with some things. I know it's not Jose or ED. I know it's not Lind, he's on fire. I know it's not Rasmus, he has had enough walks and HRs to keep his numbers up. so it's the other guys. lol Melky was a slap hitter for the month of April, but got his bitch on in May and hit everything.
JoJo Parker Dunedin Blue Jays - A SS On Tuesday, Parker was just 1-for-5, but the one hit was his first professional home run. Explore JoJo Parker News >
