Still? he's in his 3rd year in the minors only

He should be further along than Lansing imo

Kid feels like he's been around forever to me, but I've seen him pitch a bit and he doesn't impress me

He didn't throw a baseball for 2 years during 2009 and 2010 while he was on his mission.

Huh, I never heard about that, it's fairly impressive that he's pitching half-decently then.

Speaking of missions, whatever happened to Wes Etheridge?

Last I heard about him he was pitching in the Venezuelan League in December. I'm guessing he's still playing ball at least.

Hurl isn't Taylor Cole exactly the guy that should be on The velocity program, made popular by Steve Delabar?

He needs to be stretched out or made into a reliever, he's old for his level but he's also has way less pitching on his arm. I don't know if that program helps with getting a pitcher to go deeper into games. He seems to start games well but only in his debut this year did he make it out of the 6th

He seems to be getting a decent amount of K's and I expect the walks to go down.

Springfield scores 1 in the bottom of the 20th. 2 out men on the corners. Audry Perez at the plate he's 0 for 8.

Audry Perez is a decent defensive catcher

What exactly is going on with Osuna? Is he definitely getting surgery?

I think they're approaching this similarly to what they did with Hutchison, which will either end up looking brilliant or downright retarded.

I agree, just get it over with, but I would think the player and his agent have some say in it and may be asking for 2nd opinions.

It could let him pitch again this year, or it cost him multiple months more time next year.

.47 FIP. 15.22 K/9, 1.96 BB/9, good for a 7.75 K/BB ratio. A .242 BABIP isn't even all that bad. The kid is pitching like a stud.

Pretty obvious now that Carreno is a reliever and should stay there. I still thought he looked awful in the Trenton game.

Is Nolin a candidate to be called up?

Only his second outing of the year (lasted just 3 and a third in the first). Isn't on the 40 man yet, I'd think that he's a later in the year addittion

That's only one game, though.
