My proposal would be.... If we found a new owner right now we could have them cut down to 20/21/22 (their choice) players immediately and continue the draft in L54's spot. If they cut down to 22 they'd get to make the current pick, cut to 21 they'd pick 2 players, cut to 20 they'd pick 3. Rest of L54's drops would be ineligible for the rest of the draft, and would hit waivers at draft completion.

I know L54 is new in this league, but for the benefit of those who haven’t played with him: he’s one of the best owners in BORED and I’d recommend giving him rope here before replacing him.

The crux of whether or not this *matters* is whether any of his cuts would have been picked. Looks like he needs to cut ELEVEN of the following players (my estimate of his cut candidates):

If there are 11 names that almost certainly would not have been picked, we can just appoint someone as an interim manager for now, tell him to cut down to 23 immediately, and move on. I can't see any names above that would obviously have been picked. I see a couple that someone may have taken...

 

I think what I would like to do is:

 

- Appoint Carlos or someone else interested as interim manager. OR I just take over the team and make arbitrary decisions through the waiver draft.

- Tell him to cut down to 23 immediately. Waiver draft moves along. The cut players can be picked during the draft.

- I will penalize the organization for f***ing up my day. It will lose the 29th overall pick in the MiLB draft.

- If L54 shows up in the next two weeks and can explain his sudden negligence (beer stein to the head, etc.) he gets his team back.

 

Any thoughts or objections?

I made some arbitrary cuts for L54's team and he is now at 23 players. The players are freely available for selection.

 

His three waiver picks so far won't be made. Arguably this is a slight penalty because you can probably find three of his now keepers who are worse than the waive draft options. Maybe.

 

Draft moves on. I will make random mediocre picks for L54's last two selections.

 

If L54 does not come back in a couple of weeks his team is going to be transferred to some 12 year old
