Cheers on that offer Kev, me likey, I couldn't refuse.

I don't have my own first this year, a pretty weak division (sorry Reuben'ites) and a shitload of potential from a hitting side (I didn't see the BA top 100 update but figure I have 2 in the top 10 still). Having spects take up spots on my main roster just didn't make sense right now

Your bats absolutely went off last week

I think it is a 14 day run of a .600 slugging. I don't look at the pitchers it is too depressing. 6 win weeks all year

Man, when I was shopping Jose Abreu I was a bit concerned about the power and obviously trying to de-risk. But I still thought he'd be above average this year and pick up a lot of counting stats in the Houston lineup. He looks completely cooked. One of the biggest sudden declines in recent memory that wasn't precipitated by injury.

I feel this, also STFU. Your team is loaded, how'd that happen?

I thought he was a sure bet to slash like .280/.350/.450 with 15 bombs and 100 RBI. He looks like a sunk cost at this point.

Guess who has been shopping Abreu heavily in the LOD? Hahaha

I placed three P on debut waivers

AJ Smith-Shawver

Bryan Woo

Andrew Abbott (set to debut tomorrow)

Where were WAR Pigs in the Waiver priority? I offered 1 and 2 Gabe Gonzalez for their waiver spot. Neither responded

4, dude.

I mean Abbott is just a crafty lefty type who is far from a sure thing, but what are you holding your top priority for? I messaged Havok for a few weeks about the spot, so he might not be active right now, and Sil it might have been too last minute.

I liked Shawver of the bunch, but they all are top 100 Dynasty Prospects according to Baseball America.

Yeah I thought we would see priorities #1 and #2 get burned on ASS and Abbott.

Not as sure about Woo.

We rarely even do the debut waivers thing but these guys were too good to handle differently.

I burned #1 priority to get Smith-Shawver in the BBDL

I'm not enamored with him or anything but the stuff seems good, the strikeouts are there, and the stuff probably plays as a keepable RP even if he sucks as a starter.

All 3 of those guys should've went in the top 3 priorities. Though, plenty of guys slip through all the time in these leagues for some reason.

even if Woo pitches just a little better than his debut he is still better than my shitbag Mets staff I have. But I feel like Abbott (until the league figures him out) and to a lesser extent ASS will actually shine with my s***.

I'm selling if anyone is buying. Will be ongoing till the deadline, but if I get good offers I'll start early.

Vets;

Contreras

Abreu

Nola

Will listen on younger players if you are looking for steals or something. Looking for prospects or 1st. My team is a mess.

The power outage on your team is kind of hilarious

Abreu - 3 HR

Meneses - 2 HR

Gimenez - 4 HR

Moncada - 3 HR

Chisholm - hurt, so only 7 HR

Could move Brian Anderson for a pick upgrade. Not asking much. His overall numbers are still decent + playing everyday + 3B/OF.

Very smart to get a jump Spanky on the rebuild front. There will only be so many buyers.

Also hoping Speedy shows up to rebuild. I’ve been trying to buy his geriatrics for like two years now. Dude is in the process of just letting his old guys age out.

I am in the buyers market still. Pitching for hitting, no seller has the young assets I do. No one should trade a pitcher for prospects without trying me first. And remember I'm not much of a negotiator. Come at with me with a solid first offer.

Nobody sells to buyers, I've tried for years, we just cycle trades through the usual suspects. Frustrating.
