The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted February 15, 2022 Posted February 15, 2022 So I guess we'll need to increase the rosters to 27 or 28 for the draft? Then lower back to 26 right after.

Ah yes, and in my absence will a commish pls move my picks into the minors. The alternative would be to increase the roster to 30 or so, and then absent owners with autopick turned on can move the players themselves when they are able.

Otherwise owners will forget to move their picks to the farm, then get auto-skipped in the draft because their roster is full.

L54 Old-Timey Member Posted February 15, 2022 Posted February 15, 2022 What round pick is James McCann worth?
Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted February 15, 2022 Posted February 15, 2022 What round pick is James McCann worth? 5th, at best
BTS Community Moderator Posted February 15, 2022 Posted February 15, 2022 What round pick is James McCann worth? Like a 6 -> 5 pick upgrade if someone actually wants him.
The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted February 15, 2022 Posted February 15, 2022 Like a 6 -> 5 pick upgrade if someone actually wants him. Maybe in the LOD.
z3r0s Old-Timey Member Posted February 15, 2022 Posted February 15, 2022 8. Grayson Rodriguez, RHP, Baltimore Orioles Age: 22 | Bats: Left | Throws: Right Velo: 96-99, Fastball: 65/70, Slider: 55/60, Curveball: 50/55, Changeup: 60/65, Command: 50/55 Type: Potential ace who's above average to plus at almost everything (crosses fingers) Reminds me of: Luis Castillo, but bigger and with a four-seam fastball instead of a sinker There's been a bit of a curse on the top pitching prospect of late -- Sixto Sanchez (2021) suffered a shoulder injury after an impressive rookie debut that he hasn't yet returned from; Jesus Luzardo (2020) regressed then was dumped to the Marlins for a rental of Starling Marte; Forrest Whitley (2019) was suspended for a stimulant, had lat, oblique and shoulder issues and then elbow surgery (with command issues sprinkled throughout); and finally, MacKenzie Gore, who ranked first for some publications in 2020, saw his pitchability (the knack for setting up and exploiting batters) dry up for long stretches. My god I have / do own so many of these cursed cursed players. So it stands to reason that Gray-Rod will be the one that hits.

Laika Community Moderator Posted February 15, 2022 Author Posted February 15, 2022 Is there a cutdown? I dunno, whatever no rules this year just draft players and s***, have fun
Laika Community Moderator Posted February 15, 2022 Author Posted February 15, 2022 (edited) I just blasted an email at everyone. Roster spots to 30 temporarily. They will be switched back to 26 as soon as the draft is over. 30 is just extra space to accommodate the drafted guys going on your MLB team - you must demote them manually after the pick happens. If you f*** up and auto-draft picks you an MLB guy, that's your pick. No do-overs. Same thing if your pick gets skipped because your roster is full - no do-overs. MLB players are free agents so you can spend a pick on them I guess, if you want. Not sure why you would but you can. That Japanese guy who has not signed will NOT be fair game unless he signs in the next 16 hours. Please be attentive and use the queue and auto-draft if you will be AFK....... please. please. please. please. Edited February 15, 2022 by Laika
