Is there a player in baseball who misses more time than Mike Moustakas does every year for seemingly minor issues? Dude missed like 10 days a couple weeks ago for non-covid illness, and has been out half a week so far now with a bruised heel. Feels like this happens every year with him.

I think it's the opposite, he's a huge baseball fan. He's played the 43rd most games since beginning of 2012. And 35th most since beginning 2017. How could you ever question Moose's commitment. You don't deserve to have his services.

yes but it's May, i anticipate things will start getting better in June as the players work themselves into playing condition

Its good that the Reds went the cautious route and IL'd Moustakas. You really can't be too cautious with a bruise. I always like to give myself 3-4 weeks for them to heal before engaging in strenuous activity.
