Who wants Zach Collins. I like the bat, but don't think I can carry him with the state of my farm.

Best offer gets him.

kk, no harm in trying. I set up a Discord server. I don't really use it much (just for some gaming stuff during the Covid thing), so hopefully I didn't f*** anything up. I 'think' that link is what you need to add once in discord.

Thanks I just joined! I would recommend everyone joins. Would be really good for IM'ing trade talks

That's a hefty deal that somebody is going to regret a lot. Not sure who!

Let's throw a lot of s*** at the wall and see what sticks!

I like your side because you got more poops.

Trade was 100% about me trying to advance my competitive window while not getting a lot older. I expect it will be a few years before we see the majority of those guys in the show, and that probably suites FTD's timeline. I 'think' I can be competitive earlier than that if I can catch some pitching.

Agree 100% with Laika, one of use could very well regret this lol

How is Kumar Rocker part of that trade? What am I missing?

I drafted him (last pick of the draft) when he was selected in his first year of eligibility. He didn't sign, but I kept him on my MiLB roster (this was allowed at the time). Did the same with JT Ginn (who hasn't worked out quite as well haha).

He drafted Kumar a couple years ago following the MLB draft. He didn't sign, but z3r0s still held the rights to him and has kept him in his farm all these years.

Similar to what I am still doing with Carter Stewart! Hoping he develops into an Asian superstar!

I am also looking to upgrade my MLB pen. Let me know if you are selling arms. If not, I'll go dumpster diving haha.

I finally saw Kumar at his best in the Oklahoma St opener. Every other time I saw him he got outs but just looked good not great. Saturday he was as good as any NCAA pitcher I've seen. Had to be 70 percent strikes and nothing down the middle. I thought Leiter might be passing him but no way....this is a lock at 1-1

That's what I've read too, well similar reports. Though Leiter wasn't far behind... Keith Hurl, lol.

I have the schedule set now for 21 weeks.

8 teams in the playoffs.

Playoffs will run for weeks 22-24.

Our league will end before the last week of the MLB season (so week 25 in Fantrax will not be used).

Division winners all make playoffs (4) and then the next 4 best records make it is wildcards.

The 8 playoff teams will be ranked 1-8 and 1 plays 8, 2 plays 7, etc.

Division winners do not automatically get the top 4 spots so you can win the division and have to face the #1 team.

Playoff matchups will be entered manually by me or another commissioner. I think we do this to avoid screwy Fantrax tiebreaker rules?

I just randomized the schedule, BTW. I'm not going to fudge matchups. You all get two random double ups against someone.

If anyone wants to go dumpster diving for some saves, I have two makeshift closers available for next to nothing.

Anthony Bass and Joakim Soria are available. I will trade my 4th round pick plus one of them for a 3rd round pick. Keep in mind my team is really bad and that 4th round pick will probably end up being one of the first few picks in the 4th round.

Send me your Lindor offers via Fantrax. I sent a few out earlier. 1:1 and if you don’t have anyone to move 1:1 then you may offer 2:1. This isn’t any auction and I’m not interested in multiple pieces as a return. Prospect exchanges can be used to balance the equation.

Big Maple slinging those heaters in at 97 MPH this Spring... leaving fans preaching "what velocity drop?!?" 8 strikeouts through 4 innings in his debut

Get your offers in for James "11 K/9" Paxton.

I am looking for a good pitching prospect

I think he’ll get to the 12 K/9 level this year.

I am experiencing a bit of a roster crunch and want to confirm I am clear on the rules for making any drops.

Every hitter, and pitching spot has to have an active MLB player in the active slots right (we have 19 active slots)? I.e. no green flags allowed in a starting spot come opening day

The written rule is:

2.1 Lineup Setting is mandatory. Owners that do not set lineups with active MLB players for an extended period of time may be expelled from the league or face other discretionary consequences (such as pick loss).

So not a hard rule that every active slot needs an active player although that is the general idea. Historically we have not cracked down on anyone who has a green flag or two in their active roster for a relatively short period of time.

Okay thanks I'll try and have it cleaned by opening day. Just need to confirm if Vaughn and Bradley are making the big league squads
