Fantrax won’t even let you drop anyone during the draft.

We will commissioner fix any roster pickle that come about by chance and was not the fault of the owner. Force a drop for you, or whatever.

We might also be able to draft guys without legal roster since adds are all through the draft window? Not sure you'd be able to transfer them to the farm after drafting though.

That would be fine too, as long as Fantrax doesn't let someone make a pick that would take them over max roster size

Yeah this is going to be much more efficient than a traditional spreadsheet/email draft.

So the Draft Room does plop the player onto your MLB roster. Everyone should immediately demote their dude after making the pick, assuming you want them in the minors. If they don't have a green flag and you want them demoted a commissioner can do it.

The top end of this draft is actually fine. Most of these guys are at least fringe top 100 types or possible 2022 top 100 prospects.

I believe it is every year at the start of March. The next wouldn't occur until March 1st 2022.

Probably March 2022. The NPD will always be in the spring. I like doing it after prospect list season but before there is a significant amount of spring training data so the first day of March feel like the sweet spot.

 

So yeah, drafting someone who doesn't sign is a non-issue now.
