Pirates closer Felipe Vazquez has been arrested on charges of computer pornography, solicitation of a child, and one count of providing obscene material to minors.

 

Shocking and disturbing news. Vazquez was taken into custody in Pittsburgh on Tuesday morning on a felony warrant out of Lee County, Florida. According to information from police, an investigation began after word of a sexual relationship with a 13-year-old girl. The girl is now 15 years old and Vazquez continued to keep in contact via text message and videos, allegedly promising that they would meet up for a sexual encounter after the season. Vazquez was taken to the Allegheny County Jail, where he's expected to be sent back to Florida to face the charges.
