Fearthedoc Verified Member Posted March 2, 2019 Posted March 2, 2019 I will move my first rounder for a late second round MiLB
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted March 2, 2019 Posted March 2, 2019 To me: Danny Duffy, milb 54, 74, 94 To spanky: MiLb 23 I’ll be cutting Justin Anderson unless someone wants to acquire him. I sent that trade on Yahoo, unless you think you can get something for him. Someone with sheet access needs to process, Cheers bud. Still needs to be processed.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted March 2, 2019 Posted March 2, 2019 Anyone have a s***** last round waiver pick they don't need for my s***** ass MILB pick 114??? Anyone... Boxy or Org?

Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted March 2, 2019 Posted March 2, 2019 Spank, you know that gave you 6 picks now, right?
BTS Community Moderator Posted March 2, 2019 Posted March 2, 2019 Spank, you know that gave you 6 picks now, right? He has Walker in a DL spot, so he can use all 6.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted March 2, 2019 Posted March 2, 2019 He has Walker in a DL spot, so he can use all 6. Ah, ok. That makes sense, was just a bit confused.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted March 2, 2019 Posted March 2, 2019 I will select Colin Moran (who went 3rd last year) and Diego Castillo (who I can't believe is available...you people must have good teams to not protect some of these guys)
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted March 2, 2019 Posted March 2, 2019 I took Drew Steckenrider. BTS is up!
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted March 2, 2019 Posted March 2, 2019 I will select Colin Moran (who went 3rd last year) and Diego Castillo (who I can't believe is available...you people must have good teams to not protect some of these guys) Can you just pick your players without commentary plz
BTS Community Moderator Posted March 2, 2019 Posted March 2, 2019 I took Merrill Kelly. Torontofan up.
Laika Community Moderator Posted March 2, 2019 Author Posted March 2, 2019 He has Walker in a DL spot, so he can use all 6. Nah not in the DDL. Everybody ends the waiver draft with 25 mlb assets
BTS Community Moderator Posted March 2, 2019 Posted March 2, 2019 Nah not in the DDL. Everybody ends the waiver draft with 25 mlb assets Oops, forgot that rule
Laika Community Moderator Posted March 2, 2019 Author Posted March 2, 2019 11 ISO Horny 12 Seniors Circuit 13 The Beach Cowboys 14 Taijuan On! 15 (insert clever name) 16 The Butt Stallions 17 Ten-Cent Beer Night 18 Twist and Trout 19 London Slayers 20 The Bryce is Right
Laika Community Moderator Posted March 2, 2019 Author Posted March 2, 2019 Brian Anderson highlights are infuriating. Big dude with 60 raw and a good hit tool, but he has that up-the-middle / other-way approach that killed Brett Lawrie's career.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted March 2, 2019 Posted March 2, 2019 Nah not in the DDL. Everybody ends the waiver draft with 25 mlb assets Oh, well that rule's dumn. Ah well, no biggie.
torontofan Verified Member Posted March 2, 2019 Posted March 2, 2019 Going to take a flier on Ronald Guzmán.
Laika Community Moderator Posted March 2, 2019 Author Posted March 2, 2019 Oh, well that rule's dumn. Ah well, no biggie. Just how we've always done it, not a big deal either way but it's always seemed the most balanced to me otherwise certain owners just get "lucky" by having DL or NA players so they can hoard a couple of extra dudes before the season opens.
P2F Old-Timey Member Posted March 2, 2019 Posted March 2, 2019 Frustrating that I didn't get even a check-in on Colin Moran or Ronald Guzman when I've had them on the block for the entire offseason.
Laika Community Moderator Posted March 2, 2019 Author Posted March 2, 2019 Frustrating that I didn't get even a check-in on Colin Moran or Ronald Guzman when I've had them on the block for the entire offseason. Well Guzman is only interesting because of the last week
TheHurl Site Manager Posted March 2, 2019 Posted March 2, 2019 After my decision to throw my team in and “go for it” in the dispersal draft. I knew this was going to have to be a strategic waiver draft, and make sure this decision doesn’t blow up in my face. I’m not very good at this fantasy baseball thing and pick with my heart far too often. So this year I decided to create a risk/needs analysis that I based off of the model I use at work. I was expecting to see SP, SP, SP move to the top of my list. But it turns out nothing I can pick up will improve this abomination (no offense Abom) of a starting staff. Getting Castillo was actually number one in the analysis (even over Kikuchi). I think Dingers best year ever was just 7 losses between Saves and Holds…I think I can get to that kind of number this year (depending on who ends up closing in a couple situations). Moran I will admit was outside of the analysis and just some protection for Turner. I was surprised by the results of this next pick. Looks like I missed something in the analysis. Going to have to make a few adjustments before I make my pick.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted March 2, 2019 Posted March 2, 2019 Here we go, commentary free just like Boxy likes it. Although, is stating that it is commentary free really making commentary? It’s hard enough to keep up with the DDL’s rules, now I have to follow Boxy’s as well. My pick is Sean Murphy from the A’s
Laika Community Moderator Posted March 2, 2019 Author Posted March 2, 2019 Sean Murphy is good, comparable to Danny Jansen in the 2018 waiver draft maybe.

Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted March 2, 2019 Posted March 2, 2019 Commentary and hot takes are the lifeblood of this league, carry on sir.
BTS Community Moderator Posted March 2, 2019 Posted March 2, 2019 I'll offer MiLB 50 and waiver 90 for a pick here.
