I assume our rosters are 'locked' after the season is over so that Kang add won't be reflected on the OS roster? I can't recall, but that seem right

It would make sense to leave it open until the offseason rosters are input in the spreadsheet. Otherwise it's just more work to check and see transactions (for whoever gets the grunt work).

how so. You can't add players in the OS. To me the OS starts after the league championship. Just because Yahoo is still open doesn't change when the OS begins.

Neither does Kang.

 

I know that we have the opportunity to pick up dropped players from the playoff teams...Anyone dropped Saturday would just clear waiver Wednesday. I have zero issue with a pick up happening at this point or right through to the end of the MLB season

Rule on the books is

After the season has concluded and prior to the Cut Date, roster size (both MLB and MiLB) is unlimited. Owners may acquire as many MLB & MiLB players via trade as they wish, so long as their rosters are cut down to the maximum allowable size by mid-February. No free agents may be picked up via the Yahoo database after the conclusion of the playoffs until the conclusion of the Rule 5 Draft.

 

Peacock was picked up off waivers which means that Silvergun could have put the claim in before the end of the playoffs, and it just wasn't processed until today.

 

I agree, doesn't really matter in this case, Peacock sucks. But I feel if it's a waiver claim it should be legal. You could have the final 2 teams dropping keeper worthy players to stream pitchers. I think the other teams should be allowed to put in claims for those players.

 

TCA making sense. Did I miss an intervention this weekend?

 

I actually went on a 3 day bender this past weekend.

We should probably proceed with the Waiver and MiLB draft lotteries so we can update picks with specific numbers before trade season gets into swing.

Confirmed. In the end I couldn't wait for J4L to get into the league and max value for Gore. I know no one will like this trade but I'm good with that.

I have found a site that can do a weighted draft (DraftPickLottery.com) but it doesn't auto-email the results, so this could be a conflict of interest for me since I'm in the lottery. Can anyone recommend a different site that can do a weighted ball draft and email the results?

My trade becomes awful when you win, so I say you pay the $2 and use this one.

Here are the weights for both waiver and MiLB drafts:

 

5 balls - The Radio Scouts

4 balls - 25 Year Olds Welcome

3 balls - The Five Year Plan

2 balls - The Smoak Show

1 ball - The Bryce is Right

 

I will do the Waiver Draft first and then the MiLB draft, results should be posted in the next couple mins. I can take screenshots but that won't really prove anything I guess.

Ok, the results will be emailed to myself, NJH, and Hurl for verification. The first result will be Waiver Draft, second result will be MiLB Draft.
