Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2018 Posted June 11, 2018 well f***. I was going to draft Toussaint... but Dinger just added him I was thinking of trading up to draft him, then I realized he was eligible as an MLB free agent. Sorry bud.
z3r0s Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2018 Posted June 11, 2018 I'll take Dane Dunning. Will PM next
BTS Community Moderator Posted June 11, 2018 Posted June 11, 2018 Yadier Alvarez just ranked 112 on FG's top-131 prospects. I'd trade him for an upcoming pick.
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2018 Posted June 11, 2018 I'll take Griffin Canning Wow. Suprised no one drafted him last year.
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2018 Posted June 11, 2018 Alright, well since you guys aren't leaving me a ton of choices... I'll take Ryan McKenna and Cal Mitchell.
Laika Community Moderator Posted June 11, 2018 Author Posted June 11, 2018 Alright, well since you guys aren't leaving me a ton of choices... I'll take Ryan McKenna and Cal Mitchell. P2F took Mitchell with the pick he traded for
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2018 Posted June 11, 2018 P2F took Mitchell with the pick he traded for Ok give me a sec...
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2018 Posted June 11, 2018 JF- have you checked your picks? Do you need one added back in with Gio coming off your list? I dissolved picks based on prospect room on the Google doc, so I'm thinking yes, but please confirm. Looks like you may need a pick at what was formally 88 Yah I'll end up using 88.
z3r0s Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2018 Posted June 11, 2018 Yah I'll end up using 88. ok I will figure out where that pick was and add it.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted June 11, 2018 Posted June 11, 2018 I'll take Griffin Canning That was who i was trying to move up for. I suspect my other will fall to me so no more trade offers.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2018 Posted June 11, 2018 Still open to trading adequate SP Junior Guerra (2.83 ERA, 3.74 FIP, 60 IP) for an upcoming pick.

Laika Community Moderator Posted June 11, 2018 Author Posted June 11, 2018 I think we should pause the draft for 1 minute of silence for Shohei Ohtani
BTS Community Moderator Posted June 11, 2018 Posted June 11, 2018 When Ohtani comes back, in what form is he more valuable to the Angels: doing what he was doing pre-injury this year, or playing exclusively as an offensive player? The bat looks legit, and getting him out there every day, while also leveraging his 70 speed and possible 70-80 arm into a full time RF spot has to be tempting. He might still be a 5-win player, only with greatly reduced injury risk.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2018 Posted June 11, 2018 MLB Network insider Ken Rosenthal on Monday spoke to Angels general manager Billy Eppler, who said, "There have been no changes in [shohei] Ohtani's diagnosis and neither our physicians nor medical staff have recommended [Tommy John surgery] or said it's likely."
P2F Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2018 Posted June 11, 2018 Alright, well since you guys aren't leaving me a ton of choices... I'll take Ryan McKenna and Cal Mitchell. There's nothing quite like almost immediate trade justification. I know now that I definitely wouldn't have got him at 59.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2018 Posted June 11, 2018 Does anybody want Ry-on? Badley Zimmer?
The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2018 Posted June 11, 2018 I'll take Jordyn Adams. PMd GD
Fearthedoc Verified Member Posted June 11, 2018 Posted June 11, 2018 Does anybody want Ry-on? Badley Zimmer? Why dont you offer us Jesse Wanker while youre at it?
z3r0s Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2018 Posted June 11, 2018 JF - I got your pick re-inserted. Turned into 72 after all the dissolved picks.
