Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted January 22, 2018 Posted January 22, 2018 Triston McKenzie > all those guys He's pretty sexy. He could get it.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted January 22, 2018 Posted January 22, 2018 I'm surprised BA puts Sixto ahead of him. Where the Ks at?
z3r0s Old-Timey Member Posted January 22, 2018 Posted January 22, 2018 Triston McKenzie > all those guys If you say so Boxy McKenzie 2017 - A+ 11.71 K/9 2.83 BB/9 0.88 HR/9 3.03 FIP Whitley - A - AA 13.9 K/9 3.3 BB/9 0.5 HR/9 FIP... ugh, is there an easy way to pull this up for a guy who played multiple levels? I'm sure there is... but... considerably lower than 3.03 He is dominate (as all these dudes are), but I wouldn't bet on anyone being >> than anyone else on that list.

z3r0s Old-Timey Member Posted January 22, 2018 Posted January 22, 2018 welp, that showed me! edit; ps, did you say that in a Trump voice while typing?
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted January 22, 2018 Posted January 22, 2018 He is dominate (as all these dudes are), but I wouldn't bet on anyone being >> than anyone else on that list. Well it's not like Boxy has ever been unreasonably biased towards one of his own dudes.
Laika Community Moderator Posted January 22, 2018 Author Posted January 22, 2018 If I had a deeper rotation I would do it. I thought about it for a while but if Kopech develops into a viable SP he’s going to be huge in fantasy and an anchor for my team. I’m out. Also, I want to actually hold onto a prospect for once.
z3r0s Old-Timey Member Posted January 22, 2018 Posted January 22, 2018 helps that he's right there with a clear path to a MLB roster spot

Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted January 22, 2018 Posted January 22, 2018 Also, I want to actually hold onto a prospect for once. What's that like?
BTS Community Moderator Posted January 22, 2018 Posted January 22, 2018 "You're all cute" - Tyler Glasnow You're free to take this as either a cautionary tale about pitching prospects, me pumping Glasnow's tires, or the basis for a discussion about how quickly any of these guys' stock will collapse if they look bad in their first 85 MLB innings.

All of the above. Odds are at least 2 of those 4 will bust hard. Lucas Giolito was an 80 OFP and now nobody wants anything to do with him.
SpeedyGose Verified Member Posted January 22, 2018 Posted January 22, 2018 Sorry for being AWOL as of late boys but I am back! Looking forward to the season
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted January 22, 2018 Posted January 22, 2018 Have a couple of solid offers in for Zach Davies. Get your bids in before he's moved, likely later today.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted January 22, 2018 Posted January 22, 2018 He is dominate (as all these dudes are). Nate Pearson > all
z3r0s Old-Timey Member Posted January 22, 2018 Posted January 22, 2018 If Pearson lives up to the hype, I will regret selling him so early Hope he does, could use a top flight pitching prospect on the Jays.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted January 22, 2018 Posted January 22, 2018 Nate Pearson > all You buying on Kimbrel or just talking s***?
TheHurl Site Manager Posted January 22, 2018 Posted January 22, 2018 You buying on Kimbrel or just talking s***? Just s*** talking, I'd love Kimbrel but I finally have pitching prospects (2, 26 and Pearson at 91)...I'm going ride those three out I think. Overall BA ranks for my farm were bad considering it's usually where I do much better. 3 pitchers and 2 catchers I may as well not have anyone on the list. 2, 19, 26, 55, 67, 68, 91
z3r0s Old-Timey Member Posted January 22, 2018 Posted January 22, 2018 3, 5 ,6 for Dinger is pretty f'n impressive. My farm is a shadow of its former self, but I'm p-happy with 7, 10, 25

BTS Community Moderator Posted January 22, 2018 Posted January 22, 2018 We're doing this? 1 Ronald Acuna 16 J.P. Crawford 22 Brendan Rodgers 31 Scott Kingery 35 Franklin Perez 37 Alex Verdugo 41 Justus Sheffield 44 Austin Meadows 49 Jesus Sanchez 61 Brandon Woodruff 64 Jorge Mateo 66 Adrian Morejon 90 Tyler Mahle 93 Nick Gordon I also thought Kaprielian, Yadier Alvarez, and De Leon each stood a chance to make it, but alas, they did not.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted January 22, 2018 Posted January 22, 2018 16 J.P. Crawford 22 Brendan Rodgers ... weird.
BTS Community Moderator Posted January 22, 2018 Posted January 22, 2018 ... weird. In a Dynasty ranking you'd probably move Rodgers up around the top-10 and Crawford down close to 50. I get it from a MLB perspective though. Crawford is going to stick at short, and is one of the safest bets on that list to be at least an average MLB player.
Laika Community Moderator Posted January 22, 2018 Author Posted January 22, 2018 What's that like? I wouldn’t know lol. Never really done it.

Your the top team (by a good chunk) with the quick and dirty math of 101 - prospect ranking for each prospect. Of course that math is so quick and dirty that MLB rostered prospects weren't counted... but that's only Acuna, Kingery, and Woodruff

I hate almost all of these guys.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted January 22, 2018 Posted January 22, 2018 I would not trade Vlad-Devers-Torres-Robles for that whole farm. Depth is nice tho.
BTS Community Moderator Posted January 22, 2018 Posted January 22, 2018 I would not trade Vlad-Devers-Torres-Robles for that whole farm. Depth is nice tho. I only really have Acuna and Rodgers with that level of upside. Outside chance Meadows gets there if he can stay healthy I guess.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted January 22, 2018 Posted January 22, 2018 13. Walker Buehler 14. Brent Honeywell 23. Luiz Gohara 40. Keibert Ruiz 51. Leody Taveras 52. Cal Quantrill 58. Luis Robert (I don't agree with him being this low) 65. Kolby Allard 69. Mitchell White 94. Andres Gimenez
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted January 22, 2018 Posted January 22, 2018 I know I know, too many pitchers.
