Eno Sarris: I’m a little disappointed in Devers’ fly ball rate, but I could see him hitting something like .275/.330/.475 eventually, no speed, okay D while young. His body is a little worse than I thought

 

That's like, worse than his current slash-line and basically his projection, man.

 

Agree that his body is gross. He has a pudgy C/1B/DH body.

He reminds me so much of Encarnacion.

 

If I was running the Red Sox I wouldn't hesitate to just slide him into 1B/DH and let him EAT.

On one level, I wanted Jon Lester back. On another level, I'm pretty happy to see him collapse. Silvergun is cruising to a threepeat but at least he won't have Devers and Torres to further his dynasty.

All hail Overlord Silvergun! Also, congrats to everyone on completing DDLs 5th full season. It's crazy to think how long this league has been around now; whole careers have risen and fallen in its lifespan.

My first and second deals have just been finalized. Since the owner in the first is currently in a playoff position, the deal can only be made official once said playoffs are over, so we've decided to include a clause in case of career-ending injury/suspension/death to either of the players involved.

Its always a daunting task to put everyone's roster from Yahoo onto the Google doc, so I think we should split the labour. Anyone who has sheet edit access should input their own rosters. If you don't have sheet edit access, please send me a PM with your roster and I'll input it.

 

Also, if anyone has any input on the team trophy, please let me know. Things like what kind of elements you think should be on it or even just general style ideas.

I really am putting all my prospects (not Otani) up for grabs to upgrade my offense and bullpen. Example of type of deal I'd prefer to do:

 

Franco + Prospect A (and possibly prospect B and C for the right player) for 3B upgrade. Reminder that I'm not good with making snap decisions and while I'm alone at the office today, I'm trying not to be on much on my job. So after 7 pm EST is when you can expect the best response.

 

three offensive areas I'm most considering for upgrades are 2B, SS (even though I have guaranteed Addy will put up a top 5 fantasy SS season by 2021...and I stand by that statement) and 3B.

 

Relievers I'd like to have set by the time cutdowns happen. Starters should be a priority for me but they aren't because I'm stupid. If you are going to dangle a 1 or 2, with potential to be a 1, I will listen.

Hey Hurl,

excel would be great, or even just listed in a PM. Either would work just fine.

 

As for the pimp cup, it just doesn't look quite foldable enough for our needs :P.

Sadly we are stuck with a pretty standard cup design, but we can change how its decorated. We could go pretty plain or do something more detailed. I'm defs going to do a base that has all past champs on it.

 

What were people's feeling about the town bike being responsible for paying shipping for the base to the new champ? I can't imagine it being that expensive as it will be a fairly small base.
