He was actually sitting 95/96 out of the pen today and 90 on his slider, so I'm not totally mad. Also, I'm facing Boxy.

f*** you, I nearly beat FTD last week

I'm not saying your team is utterly abysmal... but your pitching kinda is... and I doubt a stinker from Gsellman is going to cost me much.

Tough break about Freeman, if you'll excuse the pun.

Wonder if he's ever the same?

Damn shame too, Jaysblue was crushing the league :D :D :D

Miggy day-to-day again with another old fat guy muscle pull. On the one hand, I like Featherdick, so I hope Miggy remains relatively productive. But on the other hand, I'm pretty happy to have sold when I did.

Interesting since my pitching has been better than yours

Damn, you're right. My pitching is abysmal, especially Berrios. Knew I should have benched him.

f*** Aaron Loup.

It definitely worries me about whether he'll be the same or not. Outside of fantasy baseball, would be sad to see Freeman go all Lyle Overbay after.

I was going for the famous Prime Ministers Trophy since it would have been an honour to have my name next to yours. Tough luck.

Jaysblue, LoMo could keep you afloat!

I'd consider LoMo. Tommy Joseph is at least hitting now though don't expect him to hit well for that long.

If you want to continue your hunt for the PM Trophy Chris Davis can be had. Better then all the other names being thrown around. He's not as cheap as a Pujols or LoMo though.

Is this the year that Pujols is actually done?

I thought it was last year, but then he went on a tear. He's still getting the Mike Trout RBI bump, and like it or not, RBI are a category.

I sent you an offer to ease the worry, busy guy like you shouldn't put up with this kind of stress.

Margot and pick 56 to SpeedyGose for pick 26.

Interesting. I've probably brought Margot's numbers up a dozen times since you made your post, but couldn't convince myself.

I was considering offering 22 straight up for Margot, but he looks like he might be fringy as an MLB keeper at this point in his career. I never really considered him that exciting as a fantasy prospect, although I'm a bit surprised to see KK cut bait on him this early in his career.

He looks like he's probably going to put up Kiermaier fantasy numbers, with a small chance that he becomes a Starling Marte.

Pillar and Kiermaier are good comps. Basically - fringe or lower-end keeper due to CF tag.

I think it's a good sell by KK. I did offer pick #39 for him yesterday but today I feel like that's stupid.

I don't agree (all due respect, KK). Rebuilding teams should be hoarding players like Margot and hoping that some of them turn out better than expected. A 2nd round pick doesn't really get you much these days, you probably won't draft a prospect who'll be as highly regarded as Margot was just last year. And it's not like KK was facing a roster crunch, he's ostensibly shipping Margot out so he can play Trea in CF and get Brandon Phillips into his starting lineup.

I think Margot's upside appears mediocre enough that I'd prefer to just re-roll the asset in the draft.

26th overall is certainly high enough to land a total stud, looking at our past drafts. It's a risk but the payoff could be quite large and the chance at a payoff is also decent:

Gleyber - 20th

Lamb - 25th

Reyes - 21st

Turner - 22nd

Urias - 22nd

Manaea - 23rd

Adames - 25th

Quantrill - 22nd

Paddack - 25th

Rutherford - 27th

Funkhouser - 28th

Of course he could also draft Jon Harris 26th overall or something stupid like that.

I have Carlos Gomez as my full time CF. I also just took a flyer on Michael Taylor who I feel isn't all that different a lottery ticket from Margot. This has nothing to do with getting Brandon Phillips into my lineup.

Do you really wanna stack up our DDL draft resumes, bruh? Didn't think so.

It wouldn't be a fair comparison, really. I draft with the express intention of trading everyone I pick within a matter of months, which is a pretty big handicap when simply looking back.

Alls I knows is that I've been on the podium more times than you
