So the Cards just called up Magneuris Sierra. What the hell do we do with him? He was in the pool but not eligible because of not reaching AA. It's basically a free for all as soon as he plays his first game?

Our rule is actually worded:

 

"Unowned prospects that did not hit AA or higher in the previous year cannot be added to MLB rosters on Yahoo, even if they hit AA, unless they are called up to the big leagues. If such players are called up in real life, then they can be added in Yahoo as soon as their MLB parent club adds them to their 25 man roster..."

 

I don't think official transactions are time-stamped, but they are date-stamped on the team websites. So I guess as soon as the news is official the free-for-all can start.

 

I don't think it matters with this guy. Seems like an emergency move and he'll probably be in the minors all of 2018. Not sure why anyone would want him in this league to be honest :rolleyes:

DDL'ers (and some lurkers) let me know if you are interested. The guy running this runs about 100 pools a year and always pays out in a timely manner. I don't see this one lasting long. Starts May 22nd before the first game that Monday

You pick one major league baseball team per week and they need to win at least half of their games for you to advance to the next week. If they win less than 1/2 their games (less than 50%) then you are eliminated. You can only use a team once. Cost will be $25.00.

 

The contest will be hosted on officefootballpool.com.
